I just found out yesterday that our baby is going to be a boy, and I’ve been trying to find a good dad-son song, and this is it. Omg. We literally have a rocking chair in the corner of the nursery right now. I’m sobbing.

I just found out last week that my wife is pregnant with our first child. I looked up good dad songs and this came up. It's my favorite. Had me in tears, too.

"there's a song in my heart, that my father's father sang to him when he was in my shoes" gets me choked up everytime. My grandpa wasn't there enough for my dad, but he gave his 150% to not repeat his history with me, so that I didn't have to go through what he went through... He did things for me that weren't done for him. So I'll try my very best if I become a dad, I owe him that much.
