man, I wish I was at that concert, so exhilarating, the energy is amazing. two of my favourite artists playing together like this is a dream come true. Rest in peace Bowie, the world has lost such an incredible artist, we'll miss you dearly
Ancient KZread, this was literally uploaded a year after the first video
are there really people sitting down during this?! How can they be sitting down?!

The amazing thing is how many were standing up. We all know 90% of the people there had their brains melted with how amazing the performance was. A few managed to stay on their feet, as wobbly as their legs would have been.
This is a wonderful video and song. Have been a huge fan of Bowie sense his "Spiders From Mars" tour at the Paramount in Seattle. Arcade Fire is one of the brighter spot in contemporary music in recent years. Great live performance on "Wake Up". Thanks for posting this.
This is truly ART at one of it's best moments. Passion for what you do and putting your whole into what you love....THAT'S what living IS.
Someone needs to make 1:17 a gif. please...

Is this a good moment to cry?
Amazing song and performance by The Arcade Fire + the awesomeness that is David Bowie . . .. whoa.
The master class of David Bowie makes any song or duo simply the best ever!
Speed -> 0.5 Minute -> 1:17 Cerebral palsy
That crowd is way too still, someone would have to hold me back from standing right in front of the stage and dancing

Ignore Mark B. He doesn't understand what an emotionally driven song sounds like.
such art and joy, this duet! loved that bowie was not too great to truly appreciate and collaborate with his contemporaries...he and his music kept evolving...
I remember seeing this 10 yrs ago it was a fashion show. my favorite from my favorite band with my favorite singer. .rip Bowie

Gotcha suckas!!!!
Just an amazing band, have always listened to arcade fire, imspiration for the young generation. hopefully inspiration for me and for everyone.
Thank God for David Bowie! He has inspired so much music of the last 30 years. I just introduced my 7 year grand son to David so he will live on for another 30 years. He looks amazing!!
Three years he's been gone. Not a day goes by that he's not missed. Hope someone on the other side is giving you as much joy as you've given us here, and from which we still benefit. Miss ya, pal.
Wooow. No words when you get to see art like this. RIP David
Can't get enough of this. Bowie and Arcade Fire. Could it get my better. And it did make me tear up.
So much passion in this performance.
Love both Bowie and Arcade Fire
bowie moves me like no other , and seen the fire . so this colaboration leaves me ecstatic ... without words
this so beautiful, it send shivers down my spine and makes tears well up in my eyes.
this is one of the most incredible collabrations I ever heard.. you can feel it litterally.. moving..
What I see in this video is a room full of people who have little, to no idea who The Arcade Fire is. But over the course of the song they have fully won over the crowd, and by the end everyone is in to it. Great version of "Wake Up". Love the band, love the song!
Richard P just awesome!! setting the beat with his shoulder-strapped drum and a tambourine and then jumping to the accordion on the second half of the song. Rockawsome!
Arcade Fire ft David Bowie it's beyond outstanding. RIP Starman.
What an absolute masterpiece of a song, and Bowie was perfect for it!
I literally got shivers watching and listening to this. It's beautiful.
I can't believe it has taken me 12 years to see this video! God bless David Bowie.
everytime i watch this performance, im just really astounded at how everyone is exerting themselves so hard to perform this and just how exhausted they must be once it ends. theyre not just talented, they all just worked their ass off to play a song as active and difficult as this one. Arcade Fire just works so hard and it really shows, their stuff is always so beautiful and epic. David Bowie really complimented the song too. I love this so much omg
I'm so happy... Bowie and Arcade Fire are 2 of my most favorite musicians/bands. THIS IS SO HAPPY.
It doesn't get any more brilliant than this.
This was FREAKING AWESOME! I'm crying right now! I WOULD DO ABSOLUTELY ANYTHING TO SEE THEM IN CONCERT!!! :D
Greatest moment in history of music, RIP David Bowie.
David Bowie RIP but he still lives through his music and his support for other artists. Here he is with Arcade Fire. It is a beautiful and touching rendition of their song. Thanks Bowie.
I'm crying oh my god this is beautiful. My favourite band PLUS David Bowie. Preforming my favourite song. ah!!!
marvellous energy! :) thnx!!
Fabulous. Fabulous. Fabulous. God, I love this song.
Absolutely love this - positively goosebumpy at the end!!!!!
Just....the pure energy of this performance is amazing.
I didn't cry! and not dead inside!! I'm just totally captivated from this performance especially since David's passing! I love every live performance of this song!! but this one just punched me right in the gut and you know why!!! R.I.P David!!
i liked it a lot. I didn't cry. thank you for posting.
Wow if David Bowie sang one of my songs it would be such an honor. I could only imagine what Arcade Fire was feeling at that moment especially since they're such young musicians. I also just love how in every performance they put their all into it.
amazing ... that from utter chaos would come a firestorm of meteoric beauty
a kind of musicmania covers me when I begin to listen them...thanks for sharing :D
Win Butler, you genius, you are my role model in music. Thank you Arcade Fire and thank you David Bowie - a living legend.
Isn't this just completely joyous!
