The planet is billions of years old and the universe is older still. Trillions of people have existed before us and trillions will continue to exist long after we are gone. So let's count ourselves lucky that we lived at the same time as this wonderful man.

Very nice sentiment, but I doubt Trillions of people have existed, and it's kinda likely out species may destroy the planet if we're not careful hahaha Thank you I'll take my "Killjoy" Medal at the Desk ;)

+Kyyro Incorrect. Obviously you don't know much at all about Bowie. You do seem really interested in making someone an atheist, even if they're not. Bowie was too smart to call himself an atheist. He was much more broader in outlook than people who call themselves atheists seem to be. Why don't you do some research before speaking for other people.

My 3-yr-old told me this is his favorite song. Not Baby Shark, not any nursery song, but this one, Rebel Rebel. And each time I played this song in my car or in the living room, he would ask me to play it again when the song ended. He just can't stop dancing when the melody is banging. I'm very proud of his taste of music.

Bowie could be better compared to Lucifer tbh. The fallen angel (black star). The angel of music. He even practiced Jewish mysticism (Kabalah) which can be traced to Lucifariansism and Satanism/Alister Crowley'steachings. Just an observation. I love Bowie, but he definitely was not a man of God.

If you think so, listen to the original version of John, I'm Only Dancing, it is surely quite campy! But indeed he had a large vocal range, and he could make many things with his voice, and accent. "Scary Monsters" (the song) is a good example of him singing in a supposedly 'mockney' accent. He was a special and exceptional artist, as everyone can see. "Everybody knows me now".

He was at same time always different and always himself. A true artist like Picasso.

He is the only artist, musician, performer that never looked past it. He changed his style to suit his age. A genius in all respects. I love him as much now as I did 45 years ago

I love how in every song he ever sings, he always isn't scared to be who he wants to be, and he is unique, and that's what makes each of his songs special.

Then I saw BOWIE and nothing was ever the same again. It was just like this, except he was WAY cooler and he was playing a guitar when they opened with this song. His voice sounds so much smoother live. And he seemed like a really nice person. Who then happened to pick up every instrument and play it. Gosh. I was lucky enough to see him play in New Zealand 2003? I think?

Ahh yeah, the Wellington concert when it rained most of the time. I was only semi-sad I missed it, due to the bad weather - but now in hindsight I regret it, as seems at least 90% likely that he'll never play live again, at least not a stadium venue or tour anyway.

Same here! This song along with "Under The God" sang by him in the band Tin Machine have been stuck in my head the last 3 days of stress! Having been blessed to meet him, makes me miss him so much. A great man gone too soon.
