David took his time like a technician and got the job done 👍

Benavidez is really a monster man, Andrade came with such high output because of benavidez's pressure. He literally took a sigh after the 3rd round. I knew it would be difficult for him in the second half of the fight but david started breaking him down in the third and landed that beautiful right hook and the fight changed. The fact that benavidez made a 2 division champion quit on the stool in 6 rounds is commendable man. He should be given the WBC mandatory Canelo fight now

If Canelo fought Benavidez three years ago they'd just be calling him a bum and give him no credit the same as they've done to other guys they once called avoided. They'll probably even do it now and prop up someone else as usual. Meanwhile, Benavidez's most notable fight is going the distance with one of Canelo's leftovers but that makes him a monster lol? Everyone who knew boxing realized Andrade was a step down from Plant and doesn't tell us much. If David was looking for more of a challenge at 168, he would have fought Morrell.

@@falfighter Doing something twice like that isn't a fluke or a mistake. He just never had the ambition or discipline to be a top fighter. He gave up his belt the first time when he had Smith as his mandatory and the second time again when he was ordered to fight his years backed up mandatories Smith and Yildirim once and for all. Even prior to dumping the belt, team Benavidez rejected unifying with Plant even though that would have put him in a frontrunner position in the division, and after losing the belt he rejected a 175 title fight vs Beterbiev which would have put him p4p if he had won. He only started posturing because he wanted a Canelo payday yet still isn't doing anything special. After 10 years at super middle, he finally took his version of a step up but that was fighting one of Canelo's leftovers then immediately stepped down his opposition against Andrade who had never faced a top fighter even in the lower divisions.

Benavidez nonstop pressure is what did the job. Andrade has NEVER faced that level of pressure like that in his career. Davids pressure is different and drains you both mentally and physically. Unfortunately for Andrade , he also has no power. Which pretty much marked the end for him , you can see David literally didn't have have any respect for anything Andrade hit him with and just kept walking him down .

Andrade buckled from the first shot he took. He looked like a deer in headlights and didn't have a gameplan, and it started going downhill fast after a few rounds. He threw a few combinations but they were mostly ineffective and got blocked. Andrade's power shots come when he loads up on winging shots but he wasn't able to get them off because that only works on gatekeepers. Matter of fact, if David was a better counterpuncher, he would have timed Andrade with something big with the way Andrade gets into sloppy exchanges and leaves himself out of position.

Boo boo looked so good and strong those first few rounds. It's amazing Benavidez worked this dude like horse. That's tough mexican

Boo Boo should have stayed at middleweight and fought Janibek. That could have made the division more interesting again. These fighters want to be in big fights, but they fail to recognize the opportunities when they present themselves. The same thing is true for Crawford. Terrence is my favorite fighter, and even I’ll admit that it’s painfully obvious that he needs to fight Boots Ennis, but he’s chasing Canelo instead. I didn’t agree with the IBF stripping him, but that’s the next fight he should be focusing on after the Spence rematch. Canelo needs to fight Benavidez. Charlo should have fought Tszyu. Bivol needs to fight Beterbiev. Joshua needs to fight Wilder. Fury needs to fight Usyk. And Haney, Shakur, Tank, Loma, and Teofimo all need to fight each other (probably more than once) They all claim they’re down to fight anyone that’s put in front of them, so prove it. Let’s see it happen. The promoters need to do their part, as well. Stack the fight cards with better matches. Make these fights undeniably lucrative for the fighters AND the fans. We’ll pay if there’s value in the product. Otherwise boxing is dead, which is a terrifying thought. I’m tired of these sideshow carnival act boxing events getting all the attention. There is a group of fighters who ruined their careers and lefacies by protecting their 0 at all costs, to wait for that Canelo payday, instead of taking good fights and building a career like they are supposed to. Overhyped duckers. The Charlos and Andrade are the perfect examples. Benavidez is different. Glad he is exposing them one by one. He actually deserves a Canelo shot, he will beat Canelo, maybe a rematch too. Then he can smack the Charlos as a warm up for moving up to fight the real monsters, Bivol and Beterbiev. Benevidez should be fighting at 175 because he in there with smaller guys and the only reason his style works because they punched have less impact . Caleb the one closest to his size was pushing him back at spots because he had the size . If he move up he gets touched up still competitive but he will switch his gameplan from just stalking

Benavides has a weird way of fighting it's kind of like he adapts to any type of fighter style he was just waiting for this guy to come and attack him to get a opening to just connect clean punch then he starts chopping down the other guy forward Benavides is a big guy in my opinion I think he be able to move up to heavyweight step by step no problem

Everyone keeps saying that Andrade is to small, that he’s a natural 154 moving up to 168. Andrade is just as big as Benavides. That’s why canelo is great, because he’s the smallest 168 and also came up and started at 147 and is now undesputed at 168 and even became champion at 175.

If Andrade had more pop and Benavidez wasn't so big, this would have been a very different fight. Benavidez got hit a lot but the punches didn't do much damage. Andrade is a good boxer but he destroyed his career being so inactive and got old.
