You are correct! Canelo wants to retire only loosing to MayWeather also showtime, promoters make a lot of money with Canelo so they also don’t want him to loose. Canelo said in a interview he does not fight Mexicans because it’s about patriotism for Mexico, hahaha. So he intends to only fight others but we know the truth.

Esta fue una gran pelea, El Bandera Roja hizo uso de todas sus armas y Medina como un guerrero nunca se rindió, pero por otra parte hubo una muy mala actuación del árbitro y los segundas de Medina - esa pelea debió ser parada hace mucho tiempo, nosotros queremos ver boxeo y no lucha de gladiadores en donde uno de los debe morir

I love this kid! D.B has become one of my favorite fighters to watch! He's like 20 and I feel like he's always in control! He takes it too! It's not all open greens! He gets his head popped to!
