If you look at statistics, you’ll find that Oasis played this song live more than any other song, yes including Wonderwall.

Dave was spot on with the T-Rex sound. Noel was writing all their early tracks not giving a 💩 what riffs and melodies he was borrowing from as he didn’t think anyone would ever hear them Straight after this gig Liam went out and got completely hammered (rumour was with the Spice Girl Mel C) his marriage was all but done to Patsy Kensit I went to the concert the following night that has gone down as one of their worst due to the fact Liam was completely wrecked 😂

I started playing guitar at 15, and this album came out when I was 16. Some of the first music I played in high school bands, still have a soft spot for it 😊

Hey back in those days (around 1995/96) I had an English boyfriend..... This was massive.... Surely around the UK and parts of Europe. We had lots of fun with cigarettes and alcohol (and lots of other stuff) hahaha.

As someone lives 20 mins from Manchester and around same age as Liam it was a massive era for us the northwest was like the grunge scene in Seattle it was called the indie scene we called it Madchester!! Started before Oasis!! Love it if you could watch Liams funniest moments he was a bit of a dick in 90s but he’s hilarious!! Me and my daughter saw Liam in Manchester last year was great!

tune reminded me vaguely of T Rex Bang A Gong also. The audio was a little distant sounding here. but probably sounds cool on album. Here's a cut I just happened on randomly. Real interesting raw late 60s sounding cut with a chugging guitar midsection, kicking drums, and a video with some legitimately disturbing images sure to entertainingly astound Dave. Liam turned not moving into an art form…

Alan White doesn't get enough credit for what he brought to Oasis on drums. I hear people say why did they get rid of the old drummer. Alan White compared to Tony McCaroll is like Tyson compared to Jake Paul. Alan White tones down his technique and skill for Oasis, and fits it to the music. Tony could only just keep up.

I agree and I became a drummer because of Alan… BUT … Definitely Maybe is better for the raw Tony Mc style. Alan often over did the ghost notes on some DM tracks and isn’t powerful enough. But now way could TM have done justice to champagne supernova etc

The only successful comeback was led Zeppelin's one night at the O2. I don't know why people beg for comebacks that in my opinion piss on the memory of once class acts to name two the stones and the who, I prefer them when they looked and sounded great at 70 years old they look ridiculous. Just my tuppence worth.
