Most successful people started from nothing. They didn’t wait for the opportunity to knock but created the opportunity on their own by working hard. Thankgoodness i found Mr carlos kingston a pro forex trader, now I have been trading with him for about 7 mounths now and I earn up to $15,000 weekly. i guess this is the epic start to a new chapter in my life. I just feel like more evevryone should be made aware of this opportunity, feel free to contact him @carlos_1uptrades on Instergram his indeed a genius.

I used to be pretty good with money without a written budget. But then my roommate moved out and suddenly everything is twice as expensive. I remember looking at my savings account getting smaller and smaller and thinking, "I don't know what to do." So I moved out of that place, got myself a small, one bedroom apartment. Still was struggling, so that's when I did some serious budgeting. Everything written out and tracked. Suddenly I didn't have panic attacks every time I spent money. Registration notice came in the mail that I needed to renew the tags on my car? No biggie. I've got a "car fund" where I saved a little aside every month to take care of car expenses that might not have accounted for. Phone died? No biggie. Internet bill due? I got it covered.

I used to feel like "budget" was a bad word, like having one wouldn't allow me to have any fun. But since I have finally taken the time to tell my money exactly what to do, I find that I have not only more fun, but more money as well. Definitely a win-win!

We had 30000 debt from student loans and from my husband not having a job for few months . We paid in 3 years . We did not go for a strict budget . But we did reasonable spending. We would go out for vacation only once a year not to expensive places . If we ate in a expensive restaurant then we would take one month break to go out again to expensive restaurant . Did some couponing and basically did not buy any stuff for 3 years . Things like having loads of clothes shoes and furniture will not help if you r in debt especially. All the free money went to debt payment. I would say don't stop having fun, we would still go out to movies and go out small vacations but don't overdo it when you are in debt . Now we plan to pay off our house in 6-8 years . It is incredible feeling to have to not to owe anything to anyone . It's so much mental peace which I think is what everyone wants in life.

Having an “every dollar” budget has been absolutely transformational for my household. We’re saving money that we had no idea was even there. My wife and I use an app that syncs between our phones. We enter every single dollar we spend in the app so we always know how we’re tracking against our targets. We’re so much more conscious about our spending now.

TADAAAAA - today I'm going to start being competent. Thank you so much for the encouragement. I desperately need to make some sacrifices in my personal life to improve the well being of my four children. My family lives off one income and times are very tough right now and have been for a long time. Today I begin our new budget and we are marrying it :) Thank you again so much for the words of wisdom. I can't wait to stop typing this and get to budgeting!!!!

If you want to succeed, you need to create a budget. Without a budget, you lack focus and direction. Budgets not only allows you to take control of your financial direction; it also provides you a benchmark for determining whether you are actually succeeding.

This gave me some hope at a time I really needed it. I have been using Every Dollar and tracking my finances for quite a while so I know where my money goes. The problem is I never stick to the amounts given for the categories and here I am wondering why I can't get ahead and continue to struggle financially. I am ready to stop this ridiculous behavior and make changes. I absolutely have to. I am 59 years old and worry about the present and my financial future every single day. What I'm currently doing is NOT working.

wife and I aren't in serious debt ($50k total debt for the car and house) but we weren't exactly coming out ahead like we should... just bascially breaking even every month... so I finally had to write out this is what our average monthly bills are, this is what our average monthly take home pay is... if I allow this much for groceries and miscellaneous spending money this is how much we should clear on average.... this month is the start of our budget so we'll see how we do in the next few months and hopefully I can get my car and house paid off faster than the 5 years I was initially estimating
