The year Barstool started was the year after I joined the Marine Corps. My buddies used to send me the Barstool print in care packages when I was in Iraq. I wish I could remember the first issue I got. When I got out of the Corps, I remembered seeing the Barstool newspapers all over Boston. It's great to see how far they've gone. Also, I work in the Boston area. After the marathon bombing, Portnoy stepped up and did a lot for our communities and those affected. He's also done so much for small businesses during this pandemic, but his critics still try to throw shade at him. Portnoy is a true American and I'm happy to say he's also a Bostonian (Swampscott). Thanks (El Pres) for your brand, and all the support you've given people... Viva LA Barstool!

The man who publicly said that a girl in skinny jeans is "asking for it." He's pathetically low on self-confidence to be that petty.

I would say he’s an average interview, he’s no Joe Rogan/Howard Stern. Ben seems to ask a question and immediately move on instead of following up to what he said. That’s my only complaint

I met Dave before and he’s just as awesome with fans as you’d hope he’d be.

He created an empire from scratch, employs hundreds, and invests in small businesses that, otherwise wouldnt need his help, but were forced to shut down during covid. Mr. Beast makes clickbait giving 30k to a homeless person. I feel dumb even responding to this, but main point, Dave's (barstools) target audience isnt children.

Much respect to Dave after watching this, Barstool isn't my forte, but my brothers have been long time fans and I can honestly say I'm impressed by how straight forward Dave is

His transparency is what we need more of. Not a Barstool fan in the least but from afar I have appreciated how he stands firm by his company and people.

The small college moderate recruiting thing is nice. Would like to have my daughter check that out. A rising Senior in high school and excellent at track and volleyball...just a little on the short side so she's hardly getting any college attention.

The key is to market herself to colleges rather than the other way around. She needs to make a list of the colleges she’s interested in and go on their websites and send her film/stats to the coach and assistant coaches via email. You don’t need a hundred offers just one good fish to bite! Goodluck this is what worked for me and got me my lacrosse scholarship to help me pay for school.

This is one of the best interviews I've seen in a long time, it was extremely engaging, and Dave was super transparent as always like you always has been since anyone knew who the guy was. And Shapiro elegantly just glides through the interview like a Boeing just coming down for landing smooth and easy, it was a really great interview I enjoyed it. I'm actually kind of mad that I just now saw it.

can they not pre record the commercials and cut them in?? stead of like ben pausing his guest and speaking to the camera awkwardly
