@Steve Sturges Yes Gilson Lavis who played I think on the first nine Squeeze albums but you might want to check that. I seem to remember Elvis’s drummer from The Attractions, another great drummer, Pete Thomas playing on Some Fantastic Place. Gilson now tours with Jools but also an impressive artist I seem to remember from an old Modern Drummer article and he has had exhibitions so multi-talented.

@@misfit2022 Thanks for that, yes, truly multitalented fellow...!
Saw rockpile when this was in the charts back in 1979 in Portsmouth, brilliant.
luv this
Great to see Dave has still got it!!!!!!
Holy shit we're all getting old - Dave looks like a grandfather but I still love him and he still rocks. That's Annie Lennox (Eurythmics) and Chris Difford (Squeeze) at 0:35 loving Dave's stuff. Rock on Grandad - !!
Another class Welshman. Keep the Dragon flying Dave. Fab.
This is one of the best videos I have watched. Dave Edmunds is great!
Dave, you've passed the audition ! Brilliant !!!!
Wonderful. Thank you:)
I love Dave Edmonds. Got this on 7 inch vynal. Have played it again for the first time in, so many years. (just bought a new player) Great to hear it again. Great to see him on tv again too! Thanks for posting, enjoyed watching.
It's really scary that this was nine years ago ! I remember watching it and thought it was about four years ago ! The older I get the faster the years go 41 now slow down time !
Dave is the man, the king. Long live Dave Edmunds.
10/10. Excellent, as all Jools and his band collaborations always are!
Brilliant. Well done Dave. Proper music. And what a drummer is Gilson!!!
Wow! This is terrific.
Quite a production. The drummer was nailing i! No one sleeping in this band. Great tune of course.
What a fantastic band timeless i would say........
Always been a Dave Edmunds fan. Great artist!
It's kind of sad how some singers try to instill new life into an old song, with a voice that just doesn't cut it anymore. Dave Edmunds isn't one of those. He sounds just as good, just as fresh as he did back in 1979.
Man, I love Dave Edmunds! Great, great song!❤
