Ohy GAWD. you've added all the things that i needed to truly ditch Illustrator. I'm so happy to be back with the Affinity family again

Thanks for the video. As someone who is relatively new to Affinity, I have been finding videos like this one very helpful. I was up last night after I discovered this video trying to follow along with it for practice..... I did multiple times exactly what I saw in the video, going over it again and again because my finished product came out looking different... I cannot figure out what is different, but the "core" or my rectangle and triangle designs are not that nice circle like your have, but this lumpy, bad looking rectangle and triangle.

Very useful 🎉

This is great stuff, but it should really be a live transform effect instead, to be able to go back and keep making changes to the objects if you need to tweak it further.

I feel like if Affinity Designer had a vector smooth/roughen tool and simplify/reduce nodes button I could completely drop CorelDraw as I don't use auto trace much anymore. Merge nodes by distance could come in handy sometimes, too.

There is one technically, but yeah I’m with you on that one. What’s available doesn’t give you the best control of stroke smoothing and not much for roughing.

I also want to see more gradient tools similar to illustrator and more control over perspective and creating patterns with shapes. 2.0 gave us lots of requested tools. Hopefully they continue with that. I like the layers and masking in affinity alot more than photoshop.

8:36 for the 2.3 update

My layers have disappeared from the right of my screen how do I get them permanently back ??

Pity there is no option to independently transform the horizontal and vertical scale (aspect ratio).

In iPad too?

It looks like this is not available for the iPad version. Am I right?

Affinity Designer (Versión 2.3). También tiene sus hermanos: Affinity Photo y Affinity Publisher; juntos forman una poderosa suite, interesante y fluida.

Frustrating theres no ipad help. That duplicate thing is not working

Hi, this feature is not currently available for iPad. If it is implemented in future updates, I will make a tutorial for it. 😊

Hi, what are you listening on out of interest? We already use a de-esser in the audio filter chain. The voiceover audio is checked across a pair of studio monitors, several sets of headphones and earbuds as well (which are typically quite bad for emphasising sibilance). Even on earbuds, the sibilance doesn't sound piercing here unless you're at absolutely full volume, where it becomes slightly uncomfortable..

Fair enough, maybe I'm a little more sensitive to those typical frequencies related to sibilance. I am listening on an iMac.@@JamesRitson
