I don't think you understand how valuable these simple videos can be. They are both beginner friendly and yet advanced.

As a person fluent in Adobe Illustrator I can say - Affinity Designer is so cool and much more intuitive, I love it

Dude...why have I been struggling to figure it out on my own when these videos make it so easy. The torture I put myself through. Thanks much!

I have learn't more about clipping and masking in this video than all the others I have watched. I presume it works the same in photo. Thanks, very clear instructions.

A tip for you... PLEASE label all videos with applicable version of Designer... AD1, AD2, or ADALL... would make it MUCH MUCH for efficient and less time consuming to figure out which ones to watch and not waste peoples time. Thank you!

I know it would be a ton of work but imagine if the Affinity Team made a motion graphics application... 🤤🤩

After six years I understand clipping and masking. It didn't have to take that long.

one thing I notice in everyone's videos is no one ever address if the images are rasterized or converted to curves to get some of these things to work. every tut Ive watched people are assuming we already know if the images are rasterized or converted to curves. Can someone explain that to me or do a video on it?

As of now, Affinity can't vectorize raster graphics. You can use Inkscape for that.

How can we invert pixel mask in Affinity Designer? I think this option is only available in Affinity Photo...

In Version 2.5, dragging to create a child layer of a parent layer does not produce the three different drop areas mentioned in this video, but rather will only allow dropping on the entire (highlighted) parent layer. This does create the child layer, but I'm wondering if v2.5 has eliminated the other two drop areas?
