Affinity Designer Tutorial - Creating and polishing simple shapes like a button

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

This video is all about different ways to polish, shade, and texture simple objects. I chose the humble button as an example. It's easy to create but can be changed into infinite designs.
There are many different ways to shade an object from flat colours and gradients to combined effects using bevel and 3D.

Great tutorial 😊 could you make a tutorial making a cool little voodoo doll? I know how to make the button eyes now but what's a good way to make the stitches?

btw how easy was it for you to switch to affinity designer? I am considering a switch to it.

It was very easy to switch. It suited me right from the start and has been growing ever since. After decades of using CorelDraw it was a fresh breeze and a lot more fun than the painful UI/UX that is Illustrator. I had no issues at all switching - even if there are a few options missing and I run Inkscape along side and use whatever feels better or what I feel like on the day.
