Great review! Looks really good. I have a BOOX Note 2 which I like, but when it's time to replace it, I'll definitely consider the Not eReader 103. I have the Dasung Paperlike HD, but this definitely looks to be more versatile.

Dasung products are amazing! It really depends on your needs because they are really 2 different devices! Paperlike works as a monitor while not ereader is a tablet with android system + Google Play store (and of course it can be a monitor as well)!

Hi Op, Thanks for your review, your video helped me a lot to evaluate my need for Dasung 103. But i have 2 questions: - Do you have a Onyx Boox Note Air? - Compare with other 10.3 inch eink screen you have, which one is better than Dasung 103?

What an excellent review! Would you recommend the Not eReader over the HD-FT Monitor? They are both in a similiar price range and the notEreader supports monitor functionality so I am very curious on your opinion

Hello miomidas, they are very similar. The differences are: dasung not ereader is a tablet and also an external monitor but it is smaller than paperlike HD ft. The quality is excellent on both of them

Вижу, что он хорош как монитор (вывод исходя из просмотренного). Т.е. если где цветы не важны - в таком можно использовать. Вот бы в Onyx Boox Tab Mini C так сделали..., но нет, там нет HDMI... (только по W-Fi, как я понял, можно содержимое экрана передавать, а это небезопасно (особенно если используется на работе или ином месте, где Wi-Fi без пароля, или пароль есть, но знаете его не вы одни...))

Hi CanuckMaverick, I am glad you enjoyed my videos! I really recommend this product if you need to use it for work and especially for word and excel! I am using office in-built android system and also through Windows as a secondary monitor!

@@matteoaccardi6759I think the videogame is the way to test how fast is a e-ink device in comparison with another. If I had one will use for my class(learning), not for videogames :)(if I can afford). But it will be a really interesting section, if you do a comparisson of how fast are dasung tablets with another brands. Thanks

If it could run Windows on it, I would buy it in an instant... I hope that soon some manufacturer will come up with the courage to release a windows-tablet with an e-ink screen. Thanks for your review Matteo :)

Hi Limio! Android system is working really well, why do you need Windows? Remember that you can use it as a mirror screen of your Windows pc!

Thank you for your excellent review, and your English is very good. ❤️ Maybe you can make your reviews even better (to make them perfect) if you don't say "uh" after words like "Dasung", "packaging", "box", "plug", "mode" etc. So no "Dasung-uh", "packaging-uh", "box-uh", "plug-uh" "mode-uh" etc. 😁

Hi! TBH at first was a little bit glossy but when I applied the matte screen it became perfect!

Hello Matteo, please tell me, how is the lag between the input and the output when using the not-eReader as a windows monitor? Is it noticeable, or is it similar to Dasung Paperlike? I would have loved to see the lag difference between the lcd screen and the not-eReader. Anyway, thanks a bunch for this awesome review!

Hello, thank you for your comment! I am using the not ereader frequently as a secondary monitor and it has the same speed and refresh rate exactly like the Dasung paperlike!

Hi!! I loved your review. Very detailed and very very good. Still i have one doubt: can Dasung Not eReader 103 read "epubs" format books? I know there is there google play and some apps. But i mean natively, can the device read epubs files? I am asking it because i read many books with "calibre" for instance, and study lots of them in that way. Hi Pedro! It doesn't have any preistalled app for epubs files but you can install one very easily! I also read epubs file and I found a lot of apps on the Google play store

I think e ink should be the future because it’s a healthier way to read things

Hi. Thanks for the great reviews!! I have one question: the Hisense A5 has 276 ppi, the A7 has 300 ppi and this Dasung Not e-Reader 103 has only 228 ppi. I own the old Kobo Glow (6 inches display) with 212 ppi only and a new Kobo Libra H2O (6 inches display) with 300 ppi. I find that 212 ppi on Kobo Glow is very low and image is not sharp but on the Kobo Libra H2O with 300 ppi, the image is great and sharp!! For instance, my phone with Samsung Galaxy A52 has a 6.5 inces display with 407 ppi!!

How long will the battery last? You said battery efficiency is good. However, I've heard that the previous model of 'Dasung' runs out of battery very quickly. I'm curious about the exact battery life. This is the part I must know to use as a tablet. please let me know.

Hi Daniel! It depends for how long you use it and if you turn on the front light. Usually one week, but even 2.

Please make a video while using a mouse. Can it use wired mouse? Or is it Bluetooth only?

The have the same quality but on is a tablet and the other one is a monitor, so if you are planning to buy one it really depends on you needs!

Seems like a cool innovation on E-Ink tech. Only if it didn't cost a whopping 800bucks!
