People in his comments always seem shocked at things we would just ignore because it happens too often here in Australia. I for one would like to see a crackdown on generally pathetic driving, but automated speed cameras are just too easy to install.

@@tin2001 I’d love to see far harsher sentences for the majority of things that go on on the roads, as I mentioned in my original comment, people are dealing with a killing machine, if people can’t handle that then it’s likely to result in only one thing & that’s death (or serious injury), our Justice System here is massively outdated & not fit for purpose but that’s a whole different story. Nothing amazes me now with the poor standard of driving, when you consider there must be hundreds (if not thousands) of these channels throughout the world & they are all posting tens of videos a week of piss poor driving, if the police dealt with half of them, there would be a lot less people causing havoc on the roads but on saying that, driving bans seem to do very little here as the majority of those banned ignore the bans & drive anyway & if caught again, they just get their ban extended!! But as I say, our justice system is a joke because how many times do you keep banning someone that is already banned or banning someone who has been drink-driving but then continues to do it?!? Banning persistent offenders is as affective as telling a pervert he can watch porn, it’s pointless because they will continue to do it!

I happen to live around the area , this is along Victoria rd past the holy cross college and just before Bunnings, which is opposite of the Gladesville pool arena. The bus lane along Victoria rd applies to 10am ,after that it becomes a clear lane. (In saying that ,you would be surprised about how many people don’t pay to attention to that). I do agree that the dash cam shouldn’t be going into the bus lane ,however he might have little option as he was blocking the intersection and he has to move. I think the other driver has done a lot more wrong than the dc car, as he not just has used the bus lane , and gone through I think a red light. But he has also gone through a left turn lane while the bus lane is still operational. In saying that, I agree with what you said

The rule of thumb is that although there are no lane markings in the intersection, the markings present in the lane up to the start of the intersection continue through that intersection, and you are not to cross them. It is common in metro areas to see drivers caught in intersections blocking cross-traffic as congestion sees traffic bank up. These cars caught in the middle of an intersection as lights change force drivers to move their car to a lane where there is space to move forward out of the intersection. This is illegal and the Australian Road Rules state that you are not to proceed unless you can see, with certainty, there is space for your car on the other side of the intersection. While an increasing number of drivers ignore this rule, you are also not allowed to change lanes 15m out from an intersection or change lanes while in a roundabout.

Jaysus. That very first driver has balls bigger than the ones I got rid of!

That truck driver at about 8:00 minutes into the video driving down the wrong side of the road, it’s good that the camera owner didn’t let him get away with it. I’d do and have down the same thing before to teach these pricks a lesson in respecting the rules of the road. Make them have to waste more of their time instead of letting them think that they’re above the law. He probably thought that he was going to save some time at the next intersection. If we teach them all that they aren’t above the law, then maybe they might do the right thing. Then there’s the fact that the fool is on the phone, how the camera owner showed this footage to the police.

No he didn’t run the red light at all, he was turning into the street legally as he had the lights. Whereas those people on the street and straight across from there had the red light. Have you thought about getting your eyes checked lol ?

9:55 crossed a solid white line to do an illegal u turn. Very dangerous, should have called the police.

2:02 . To be fair the rider didn’t do an illegal U-turn at the lights. He illegally rode along the pedestrian crossing over the traffic island just before the light. A much worse traffic offence. And immediately after at 2:11 the scooter rider doing a wheelie is impressive on such a piece of crap. Dumb, but skillful.

See to the passenger side of the holden, the line continues all the way to that curb, Stop lines finish in the middle of the road. Now, as to which driver is thicker,... both? 😂

The amount of people in here with main character syndrome is off the charts.

21:35 All these years when I've been in the wrong lane or missed my turn, I've been wearing it. Thanks to CDOA, I now realise the correct thing is change lanes without looking, reverse to where I can turn, or simply drive the wrong way down whatever lane suits. Obviously, it's important not to ignore other drivers entirely - one must give the middle finger to all and sundry. Oh, and if I'm in a hurry, or have a busy life, my needs come first - road rules don't apply and other drivers don't matter. Got it.

These people going on the wrong side of the road to get in front of other traffic waiting, running red lights, people on phones and speeding, you need to take the details and report it! we are not a third world country where you are aloud to do whatever they want, they need to be stopped! It's just getting worse, who gives these people their licences?? 😡😡

vehicle going straight also failed to STOP at the stop sign, had they done so DC would have been gone and clear. Be interesting to see the insurance outcome.

@@lesstockley4937 The other driver almost stopped, so I doubt it would have made that much difference; of course, any insurance company would try it on to reduce liability but the DC made an unsafe turn by failing to give way, so should bear full responsibility.

@@petesmitt ah the old rolling "stop". If the DC gets penalised for failing to give way, the blue car should be penalised for failing to stop. One doesn't cancel out the other.

The white car is exiting a car park and must give way to all traffic already on the through road, the section between the solid lines is to indicate that that section should remain clear when traffic is not moving only.
