Honestly, a simple one man cyber traffic unit can reduce up to 40% of road offences once they start handing out fines for dashcam videos submitted with necessary details. They can even incentivize the submissions and that'll make more people get dashcams further increasing the eyes on road. The fines even need not be exorbitant. Imagine your work being watching dashcam videos, noting doing the offences and issuing fines. 😂😂😂

These people never cease to amaze me. I wish I'd had a camera yesterday when the idiot taxi driver merged into me then tried to claim it was my fault. I had a chuckle when the cop told him he was in the wrong

Truly amazing how many drivers don't know left from right or which side of road to drive on.

@@suegibson8914 In my experience native born Australians are also preposterously bad and/or aggressive drivers. This is also not a unique policy trait of the Albanese government, previous Liberal and Labor governments have also relied on a high migration rate for various reasons, but mainly it's an easy way of growing the economy when your fertility rate starts to drop like it does in most developed nations.

although that gross mass on the trailer might have been well over the ute's towing/braking capacity.

Some Australians need to learn that the brake is usually more effective than the horn, and that giving way is better than having a collision while asserting right-of-way.

am truly stunned how many DC drivers have zero tolerance for minor discretions/errors in judgement. As stated, they would rather sit on their horn & hurl abuse..

The fella who jumped out of the car in the middle of the road near dominos is so lucky that the truck was going slow.

7:52 proof that daytime lights still don't protect you from bad drivers.

Cop ute pulls out ,no indicator, goes through red light, stops suddenly pulls half off the road, no indicator. Reverses out wrong side of road crosses to other side of road, no indicator. Goes through red light & crosses to other side of the road where it started from, no indicator. All this with no emergency lights or siren. Great driving example.

I live in the United States. We, and Canadians, drive on the right side of the road. From these clips it is obvious a lot of us visit Australia, and can not get the hang of driving on the other side of the road.

Putting the absolutely appalling level of utter incompetence of so many drivers on our roads, one positive is the minuscule number of hit-and-runs we have in comparison to America. If this number of clips were compiled from US dash cams there would be at least 10 hit-and-runs. It almost seems the default behaviour in the States. Given that we tend to follow America in so many ways culturally, I hope to God this is one trend that never carries over.

I still don't understand why in America people commonly don't have front or rear plates? You wouldn't last a day doing that here.

@@kimsland999 Many states don’t require a front plate. They only require a rear plate. I cannot, for the life of me, understand why. And if your car is registered in a state which doesn’t require a front plate, you can legally drive that car in, through, and around any state - even those which do require a front plate. Like so many things in America, it makes absolutely no sense. 29 of the 50 US states do require front plates. 21 only require a rear plate. The 21 which don’t require a front plate are… Alabama Alaska Arizona Arkansas Delaware Florida Georgia Indiana Kansas Kentucky Louisiana Michigan Mississippi New Mexico North Carolina Ohio Oklahoma Pennsylvania South Carolina Tennessee West Virginia

The reason for the hit and run is the lack of insurance among the idiot drivers.... huge insurance costs and even worse premium increases for the next year or more if you are at fault. Plus being sued rears it's ugly head as well..... Plus the lazy Police attitude and the different jurisdictions that don't give a continental to follow up on a complaint form some little hick town Sherriff There's something about Police all trained under one law... oh wait... how many states in Australia?

@@just_passing_through Ok thanks. I'm aware motorbikes don't require front plates for safety reasons, but clearly front plates on cars worldwide don't have that issue. Its a very odd road regulation you have, I have a few more confusions (over judges doing personal judgements, we can't have that here, as it would create a legal precedent that anyone could use in their matter if its similar) But it would take a book to ask you all these confusing things I see in America vids.

It's pretty easy to do - I've learnt over the years never to assume the car in front is going to go at a roundabout - never touched but must have been close a few times.

I did something similar at a slip lane in my first year of driving. Guy in front of me moved to cross the line then changed his mind. As I was looking right for my chance to enter the flow, I didn't notice he was still there until crunch! He was pretty good about it and I just bought him a new tail light. We live and learn

People complain about those who stop on the yellow. In Queensland the law now says that you must stop on a yellow, treating it like a red light. If a cop sees you run a yellow and “judges you could have stopped” you get the exact same fine and points loss as if you’d run a red.

It really baffles me how many people get so worked up over being honked at. They're either letting you know they're there or that you made a mistake; it shouldn't be something to get mad about. It's just crazy to me.
