I remember playing the Wii version of this. Despite the crappy graphics and the cutscenes being pretty weird at times, I feel like that version had more substance to it, especially gameplay wise.

First off: "Masterpiece?" I doubt that very much. Second: This game WAS rushed. And there was going to be more for it if I remember right, but probably due to Disney about to buy the rights to Star Wars, the ideas were scrapped and plans for a third game were cancelled. The fact that the second game didn't do so well didn't help either.

While we’ve seen the kind of horror that Vader can be in Fallen Order, it’s not often we see the kind of effects that he can have on someone’s mind. I think this is portrayed very well in the beginning of the video.

"Find and kill General Kota. If you refuse, the woman dies." "You will return to me and give yourself to the dark side, if you resists, she dies." "And when your training is complete, you will hunt down and execute the Rebels leaders, if you fail, she dies."

Since Respawn Entertainment did beautify on Jedi Fallen Order, I think this kind of technology would've made a good use for Force Unleashed 3.

Never did like the idea of anyone but Luke (and the Emperor) overpowering Vader in a fight, just seemed to make him less intimidating and their battle in Return of the Jedi less impactful, hence why I loved his portrayal in Jedi Fallen Order. Still wish The Force Unleashed was canon though, it's a damn shame so much of the extended universe is now just gone because of Disney.

If Galen, Juno and Proxy were canonized, that would be a game changer for most fans. Since he is considered a fan favorite and what LucusArts developer did describe Starkiller ' what if Luke Skywalker was trained under Darth Vader'. To me, it was an interesting concept since creator George Lucus did give them advice on Starkiller's relationship with his master was a wayward father-son thing.

Not really with Luke he finally got the proper training to be consider a Jedi master as before when he rushed in and got his ass kicked by Vader in empire strike back ( this was also stronger Vader who finally got back to strength of anakin and surpassed it) Also Disney almost makes star killer canon but he was planned to be a inquisitor in star war rebels edit: oh just read comment again more clearly

Starkiller to me has always been that one character who can use both the force and the dark side which I think is SICK and he’s a BADASS. I hope we get a canon character like that someday like just imagine how fucking ridiculously overpowered you’d be to have the force and the dark side. They could give the character this wonderful story about him having to fight to keep his sanity- like a mental battle between the force and the dark side is the price for all that power, he could have cool BERSERK moments where he loses control almost like he has three personalities. I’d love to see a story like that where he’s so unstable and powerful that the Sith and the Jedi have to come together to stop him while he races against the clock to gain control over himself. His dark side personality can have this cool savage, sadistic nature that enjoys destruction and shit While his light side personality can be this quiet hero type And when he finally masters both he can have a calm and heroic nature while still having that animalistic powerhouse fighting style. Just amazing

Correction: The dark side is an aspect of the Force, they're the same thing. I think what you were referring to by "Force" is the light side, right?

Vader, getting his ass handed to him in a totally one-sided fight: "You are weak, broken." Vader, after continuing to be mercilessly pounded: "You are mine to command." Vader, after the beating continues unabated: "You are a failed experiment." Yeah buddy I don't think you have a strong understanding of the current situation.

In hindsight, why would Darth Vader teach his apprentice force lightning? Lol

Clone Galen Marek: I'm not Starkiller

The elevator in the beginning felt like a whole parody

This version of Lord Vader is rarely witnessed. Where his anger has that frustration edge along with it. He’s clearly had enough of the games and he’s ready for his pound of flesh!!! I absolutely love this!!

MK played Fallen Order and then went back to play Force Unleashed just like I did

I wouldn’t go as far as to say that this was the better of the two. However, 20:46 was really well done

Sucks that there isn’t gonna ever be a third installment or even a re release of the first two games in like a remastered edition physical copy two discs for $10 or $20 I’d buy it

Angel720 not necessarily. You could call them alternate universes, since there’s a timelined set of scenarios for what happens if you choose to become the sith stalker in the first game.

Many people had been wondering what happens next after choosing the Light Side. I mean, sure Starkiller's clone and Juno are reunited at last, and he decide to spare Darth Vader's life. But I still wonder if Boba Fett is following the Rogue Shadow to free him, thus takes her hostage once more to subjugate Galen to either be his apprentice again or become one of his Inquisitors. That's something Disney couldn't done.

I like that this story is open-ended. Especially with how cinematic the old & new Star Wars movies are.

Loved TFU1, and learned to love TFU2 after seeing it more as DLC than a game. Even though I know it will never happen, A small part of me hopes to see one of Galen's clones in "The Mandalorian". I mean how often is a character modelled exactly after the voice actor? Lets employ Sam Witwer.

Personally, I’ve always had Incineration in right hand and the sky blue in the left, they work together perfectly against Vader, not to mention Starkiller threatens Vader with his right hand and Juno picks up his left saber, so it looks like he’s threatening with the dark side and Juno uses a light blade

I love how they were not scared to make Darth Vader defeatable like they were in Fallen Order. In a Star Wars game, there is nothing more satisfysing than defeating the most powerful Force user in the trilogy. Starkiller took down an entire star destroyer with a Force pull, he deserves to defeat Vader.

Bet Vader was smiling while Galen was walking away in the end

The way Vader acts here is very different to the Canon one. In Canon, Vader would consider this clone as an unspeakable abomination that should be put down.

If anything, he wanted to use juno as a tool to control starkiller. Because she meant so much to starkiller, Vader identified that weakness and wanted to refine the same manipulation that the emperor did to him. so who knows what Vader had in mind for poor Juno.

Vader withstood lightning that should have killed him ten times over.

If the Force Unleashed like every other Pre-Return of the Jedi character, event and story is restored back into canon by Disney Star Wars then there will definitely be changes made to it because of other works like Rebels and Rogue One for example namely Galen Marek might not even be known as Starkiller since because of the Death Star-sized planet superweapon made by the First Order in The Force Awakens he also won't be responsible (sort of) for creating the Alliance to Restore the Republic/Rebel Alliance by his heroic sacrifice if it does happen it won't be on the Death Star instead some other facility like an Imperial prison and it won't lead to the Corellian Treaty given that the group was formed on Dantooine though he might have some sort of role in helping them and if there are any other characters from the game that do show up like Rahm Kota, Juno Eclipse, PROXY-7, Maris Brood and Kazdan Paratus then they will also be different for instance Rahm Kota would be a Rebel Alliance cell leader with his militia just like Ahsoka Tano and Saw Gerrera and he wouldn't be blind given that Kanan Jarrus and Chirrut Imwe already fulfill the role of a blind Jedi Force user, Maris Brood wouldn't be Shaak Ti's apprentice given that she's dead in Order 66, Kazdan Paratus might survive similar to Maris Brood and Galen Marek may or may not stay as Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader's secret apprentice.

Is it intentional that Galen just sounds so hysterical all the time? Like everytime he screams or goes "I'LL KILL YOU" it sounds like Hayden Christensen screaming in pain in episode 3 or the classic "YOU WILL NOT TAKE HER FROM ME" I know people loathed Hayden for his delivery and I don't know Galen just sounds very much like him

ARX 351 he uses reverse mostly for defense, if you look closely at the combos in this game and TFU I you’ll see that he switches to a regular grip when striking on most of his attacks

Its also his personal way of using a lightsaber. You dont see many lightsaber users using reverse bc majority of lightsaber users have it in the front but for all of them it's there preference on how to hold it

Its a shame they never made a part 3 i enjoyed force unleashed 1 own all but one story dlc the one i didnt buy was Bens boss fight. I loved Force Unleashed 2 and they left a opening for a part 3 at the end.

It hurt me to see you use your power up but then you got put into a quick time event

Fun fact: Luke Starkiller was the name George Lucas originally had for Luke Skywalker in the script during the filming of the original trilogy in the 1970s.

Who knows. But I assume they wanted to create a reverse version of the sith edition of the first game. An what if story, in which the light side started gaining momentum sooner and Galak is the one to defeat the emperor for good instead of Luke.

I prefer raging out and beating the crap out of Vader here instead of running away from him in Fallen Order. Like, when I'm playing a video game I wanna feel powerful and be satisfied. Force Unleashed is pure power fantasy and I fucking love it.
