This was Muse at their absolute finest. Two near perfect albums behind them with Showbiz and Origin of Symmetry and as a live band really pushing what was possible as a three piece without cheating by having backing tracks and a keyboardist behind a curtain somewhere. Every note you hear, you can see being played or sung. What Matt could do with his guitar and those effects along with Chris's fantastic fuzz bass and Dom's technical and gifted drumming was just amazing. They were all in their early twenties here too. Just astonishing.

Insane performance.The vocals are spot on and that last guitar solo really shines

3:10 may be the most perfect guitar sol ever played.

You can see him mouthing the words a little bit he looks like a deer caught in the headlights cause of the big ass spotlight currently on him so he was probably nervous and squinting at the light

Back when they were easily among the best music you could hear!

So fresh faced and fizzing. Love this song, dirty, sleazy and beautiful all rolled into a few minutes.

OMG, the way Matt does this smooth tremolo at 3:19... ... he doesn't seem to touch guitar knobs, so it's probably achieved by playing the same notes on different strings while bending one a bit. Imagine the precision needed to hit the right tempo P.S. also can be heard at 3:29
