@@reckless20 I'm not a singer so I don't know about singing and all of its difficulty. But considering Matt had laryngitis before, I just pray for his voice stay healthy today. Me hoping for a deepcut to be performed is just an important hope. It's not more important than hoping for them to stay healthy to make whatever music they want and perform. Knowing them still exist today is more than just enough.

This song absolutely underrated

awang izwanddy no it’s definitely his acoustic producing that noise he has done something very similar when playing black out on acoustic. What more impressive is he uses a really expensive and cool acoustics simulator to turn his electric into an acoustic.

The dead giveaway is the sound at the very end, if you've ever tried it before you get crazy feedback and that warbling hum is the sound it makes.

me too. they could have tuned down to D Standard and that would have put the song in C minor, making the belted part a G instead of an A, totally safe for Matt to pull off every time (despite that fact he belts an A in Survival)

This song requires a lot, yet its potential is high. I hope someday they could give a magnificent re-arrange for this song.

Holy shit this was hot! I love this song, such a spicy tune, and had no idea they'd done it live. I did wonder how Matt would've pulled off that chorus and I like what he did with it, even tho there's nothing more epic than the endless "avenge". Also I love his lil ruffled shirt 👀💞

I guess it goes to show what I don't know about singing, when its more difficult to sing "I will avenge" in this song live in 2006, than it is to sing Micro Cuts, live 2011 or Stockholm Syndrome live(they're still playing it occasionally). Still a great performance,although in the studio version "I will avenge" is my favorite part, the way it blends in with the strings that come with it, sounds so fucking good. I still like that Bellamy did change it up with the strings to try something different, since he couldn't shout that part like the studio recording. That's key to music performance, see your disadvantages as an opportunity to change something up in the song. It is a bummer that this song isn't played live anymore but I can see why, if it was hard to sing in 06, it'll be harder now.
