I heard that the hacker in number 10 actually WAS trying to make a miniboss out of it. I think he posted a video of it somewhere. I'm not gonna lie, I think that one was a bit more acceptable than the others, if only because of the creativity behind it. Nothing beats number one though.

The final damaging item takes it from "suprise pvp boss fight" to unfair hacking though. Also imo, if you've made yourself into a boss you need to attack in repeated patterns and in general act like a boss

I'm inclined to agree with you. I cannot stand people who modify their saves/ hack/ cheat to give themselves an unfair advantage over other players - I think it's incredibly childish. However, hacking offline or in a way that doesn't impact fellow players I don't have as much of an issue with.

***** At least some do so they can fight many people on equal footing. I use to modify my save in Dark Souls 1 so I can be level 150, set my stats to fit the level, then profit. Lots of people to fight.

But he did it in an unfair way, he made it so attacks both were unpredictable and also they would just happen out of no where or would have an after affect you can't predict. So no it's not fun to get fucked over by attacks that do ridiculous damage that you can't tell when they're coming.

If it is done well, with the intent to create a challenging and fun experience instead of being a power-fantasy, and it is quite conceivable that the player could win, then I genuinely love it when people cheat in that kind of way. Maybe make some slow-walking iron-flesh character that had some unique weakness... just things like that :)

i met one like number 10. his name was death stalker i think. and he had full Dark wraith Armour and a great scythe with blue fire on it.

I think #10 is KINDA ok. It's hacking, admittedly, but at least he doesn't have god-mode on, and it's just like a really hard boss.

You can actually find that person on youtube. He was trying to create a boss of some kind for a video he was working in. Search for graphc and his dark souls 2 secret boss video. He also did one as king allant from demon souls.

The number 10 and 1 invaders are welcomed in my world any time. Number 10 was just badass, make him a boss for fucks sakes. From should learn a thing or two from him. And the fappingguy's sense of humor is greatly appreciated.Number 10 should've been number 1 though, the host isn't even the one who kill the hacker in some of these videos.

I hate most hackers but when you hack only to add a fun gimmick for other people to beat is fun like 1, 10, and 5. I think it adds some more fun plus I don't think it is "game breaking"

I'm okay with hacking if it's still possible. Like, the other day I fought in the arena a guy who broke my armor and rings in one hit, but that didn't have anormal health or unlimited stamina or anything impossible to fight against. That's challenging, but not impossible to beat. He gave me a soul item as well so I could repair my gear, so that is pretty nice. A nice guy.

That last guy had me in tears. Good god that looked hilarious.

You know Sunlight, I actually like when people do cool stuff with hacks like in #10, because it's incredibly cool to look at.

DarkerSouler This video is pertaining specifically to PvP, there's no other way to look at it other than cheating. Hacking in a game is equivalent to taking performance enhancing drugs like steroids in the athletic world, it creates a lopsided playing field. Athletes that cheat are not allowed to compete... it's the same reason From Soft bans hackers. Modifying the experience defeats the purpose of measuring your skill. Don't get me wrong, I mod Dark Souls but I only do it for video-making purposes (camera angles and whatnot). In PvP though, again, it just defeats the purpose of competitive play and I'll never understand it. Obviously mods have their uses, PvP isn't one of them.

The only one I found very interesting was #10. I'd love to see only Modded players like that and they drop items when killed. Be it scripted or not. Having Human Bosses over AI would not only provide more of a challenge but I wouldn't even be mad since he didn't have Modded HP. Same goes for the guy using Corpse Explosion on himself. He falls over when it's used, in way, it is balanced if you avoid it then follow up with a punishing move.

For Grapfic (the number one boss): your modding was MAGNIFICENT. Unfair, because no one expect a mini-boss in an invasion, but a mini-boss MUST be unpredictable (COOOOF every boss in Ds2 except someone COOOOOOOOF). People who invade someone who happens to be hacking honestly doesn't bother me much. They're in their own little world doing whatever makes the game fun for them, and you just happen to stumble on them. QUESTION!!!(: ok so for the shadow dagger initially how strong are the Ripostes or backstabs generally a backstab or parry is the damage of weapon x2 with little or no less scaling in it, so if a shadow dagger were at +10 (i do not know the damage of it so bare with me) with 150 Dmg a back stab would only be about 350+scaling so roughly 400. so leads to question in the beginning, initially how strong is the backstab or parry with the shadow or mail breaker daggers. they do what 140-150 Counter. were most do just 100. my Chaos blade at 235 would only get 600 damage with a backstab cause its x2 plus scaling depending on scaling it could be better or less, im rockin 40/40 so i know i get the most output with all my weapons but all backstabs seem to be the same, just all weapons damage Output, such a pity what they've done to this game.

The first Dark Souls was WAY harder. I never cheated. I even destroyed gankers with the Great Lord Greatsword. If you want to mod Dark Souls, do funny mods like No. 1. Grow some hair down there. Be a man.

If I've beaten the game a dozen times and i've gotten all the achievements and i want to have little extra fun, what is wrong with cheating? This game is boring anyway so what ever. I never cheated in the original Dark Souls because it was FUN to play. Dark Souls 2 was just a bore. Cheating helps me have a little extra fun here and there. And that doesn't make me a pussy.

+Zach Rice A) I play the game just because I have it. Even if a game is boring I will beat it before I get another one. If you can't understand that then I don't know what to say. B) If I'm Cheating in PVE and I get invaded I will never fight or even acknolewdge your presence. Soooooooooo you know. How is that bad? You got one option, Leave. I'm not a dick.
