Darius has been solid, first with Hootie and the Blowfish, now as a soloist...I think what has been missed in these comments is his nature... Darius features people, real people. He shows their eyes, their hands. He shows their love and their dreams. Not many people can move you with true believers, Darius makes you believe in the goodness of ones spirit. So much to say evaluating his music, sometimes less is more ....

This is what we need to hear..positive music that inspires!

This is my first time listening to this song and I’ve been binging on Rucker songs for a couple weeks now. This makes me think of my husband...we are one... now and forever... one name, one life, one heartbeat in the darkness, one flesh, one unbroken promise and and one answered prayer. After sixteen years of marriage and four kids later, were still best friends and will take any chance we can to go hide from the kids lol. All of Darius’s songs are so good... And I think it’s because they say what we’re all thinking inside but too afraid to say out loud.

When my wife and I got married our song was I don't want to miss a thing by Aerosmith. 10 years of war, multiple combat deployments with my last one ending in massive injuries that effectively ended my civilian and my military career. My wife has been by my side throughout everything, combat deployments, multiple hospitalizations, physical therapy, everything. Excellent! This is one of the best songs I have heard in years.

My mom danced to this at her wedding and it was beautiful. There are now 6 kids in my new life and it is scary to think you will be replaced. As they danced I watched him go to each kid and have a few seconds with each. I thought my life my life was over when my mom and dad got divorced. I am 14 and he came up to me last. He held out his hand a danced with me. This ment so much because I got my own song. I love my new huge family. It was a beautiful day.😊😊😊

My grandparents were just true believers. They were married for 49 years till my grandma passed away in November. One thing about my grandpa is hes as faithful as they come.

Darius has never done anything that I didn't like. The majority of which I love. Been a huge fan since the first time I saw the "Let her cry" video on VH1 in 95. He's a rare talent.

+SickMike07 I think you should listen to some of Charlie Pride's music, if my thinking is correct, he was the first black country artist. I like Charlie Pride and Darius Rucker, both have great talent. Charlie Pride was very popular back in the 70s when I was a little kid. Back in the 70s, most country music fans were racist, but they loved Charlie Pride, that speaks volumes about that mans talent. I mostly like rock music and I loved Hootie and the Blowfish back in the 90s and now I like Darius Rucker's country music. I grew up listening to rock, pop and country, also some disco, but I was not much of a disco fan. You should listen to alot of the white country artist, some were really great. Back in the 50s, 60s and 70s, some of the best pop and rock artist were black. I think it all had to do with the kind of music the artist liked and not race. As a white kid back in the 70s, I loved The Temptations, Marvin Gay, The Coasters, Bill Withers, Otis Redding Sitting on the Dock of the Bay, Dobie Gray, Percy Sledge, BE King and many more.

Wow! this is the second time I heard this man. He is awesome. He replaces the Dime-A-Dozen country singers today. Does not matter what color he is.
