It's traditional for ppl to throw water balloons at that parade. Listen to the witnesses. He got out of control over a water balloon. No one yelled ACID because no one else in the crowd has backed his claim. He's trying to justify his actions. There was no disrespect. He's just simple and thinks he is still in his bangin days, getting tough over nothing. Common sense would tell you to NOT get out of your car to confront someone that you claim yelled ACID.

I saw an interview where one young man said that the parade is known for water balloon fights between the parade spectators and the people in the parade. He also mentioned that whenever there’s nice cars in the parade, they don’t throw water balloons at it. Sounds like the organizers didn’t inform Danny Trejo of the balloon fight parade tradition.
