Lori Miller I like and respect him a lot also. He's so genuine, honest and not the least bit pretentious. What I respect most (more than his wit and intellect) is that this is a man who admits his flaws and mistakes and seems to learn and grow from them.

I feel for Danny and the extended Cassidy family. The death of David has to be devastating if not completely unexpected given his recent health issues. This is a heartbreaking way to start the holiday seasons. This has been a particularly hard year for those of who grew up with various icons from the 1960s and 1970s. Adam West, Don Rickles, Roger Moore, Glen Campbell, Mary Tyler Moore, and now David Cassidy. Say what you will about celebrity worship -- and I sure don't have it myself -- but the fact is that for a lot of people there was a certain comfort in being entertained by the programs (films, TV shows, records) these people put out. It was a very fine group of entertainers. We can at least be glad that their greatest works have been preserved and people can go back and enjoy what they created in their most productive years. Every year has its passing of notable persons but this is rough year for a particular generation of people who grew up on programs from that era...

Oh goodness sake, she WAS part of one of the last major TV family sitcoms where the parents weren't portrayed as COMPLETE IDIOTS and she was on opposite the Partridge Family! I'm laughing a bit as I remember the supposed real-life blowup between Danny Bonnaduce and the kid [Michael Lookinland] who played Bobby Brady. This was shown in a tele-film about the Partridge Family TV series in a scene where "the Brady's and the Partridge's" met to make peace between the television families and Danny got into a fight with the other kid!!!! Now, while the younger kids are fighting, Barry Williams and the mothers are trying to help break up that fight while the Brady girls were flirting with David Cassidy! Years later, Danny and Barry Williams "Greg Brady" faced off in a celebrity boxing match. Danny was in better shape and with his greater experience with fights he naturally won the second fight against a "Brady!" LOL I guess I did remember something that put me in a better mood after all this sad business...!

I am so lucky that i am perfectly healthy right now...but i have met so many out there, who are not....many issues. After 40. good luck. I am now over 50. but I do things that a 30 year old would do. And other than my 45 year old diseasead alcoholic woman friend, most over 40, are too tired to do anything....whether it be overeating, or their arthritis medicines for their knees. Kind of sad. I saw Danny when he made a personal appearance in Lansdale Pa, at Clemens supermarket in 71 or 72. He was mobbed and had to stand on top of his limo to sign autographs. He seemed overwhelmed by the whole thing. He saw me in the crowd waving his album which made him smile and he of course signed it for me. I still have it. Then, about 20 years later or so I was with my Mother at King Of Prussia mall near Valley Forge, she went off shopping and I headed back to my car to smoke a joint. As I was walking down one of these super wide mall halls I saw this redhead walking towards me. When I saw it was Danny entering the mall I literally grabbed him and told him how much I loved the P.F.. He was very nice,He thanked me and walked away,he went into the bookstore. I think he was without a doubt the best celebrity encounter I ever had,the second being Joey Ramone.

So many negative comments about Danny Bonaduce so I feel compelled to stand up for him. Back in the mid to late seventies, Danny lived in the same apartment complex as two of my best gentlemen friends so our paths crossed a few times. To me Danny seemed soft spoken- almost shy. Never put on airs. Seemed almost embarrassed by his celebrity. He was always polite and respectful to me even though I was a massage parlor hooker. Danny's thing, at that time, was playing poker with my friend 'Doc' Halliday. 'Doc' always won a lot of money off of Danny. But Danny just kept coming back for more. Thanks for the memories Danny. I am Jo-Anna from the San Fernando Valley, Calif. and I am, on uTube KEEPLOOKINGUP Jo-😇 @

Its' good to hear first hand from someone who knows Danny instead of outsiders who only have their judgemental "opinions."

Cool story. I was born in '52, 2 years younger than David and have excellent memories of the PF. To me they seemed almost like the Monkees, a TV show about a pop/rock band from the late '60's. I never realized until after his death what happened to the band and their whereabouts. After David died I began, with the aid of KZread, to watch David Cassidy videos about his life and struggles. His life ended a little less sudden than his dad's, but both can be attributed, sadly, to alcoholism. While never an actual fan, I was sorry to hear of his passing.

I loved Danny as a kid! I am now 54 and I think he has 4 years on me..*...he was funny on that show as a 11 year old! Danny also ahd an asshole , hrad core father who beat him as a child, I did too and that's why I am happy to see he's doing much better and gives Cassidy the credit for helping him get his life together in 1990!! God bless all those wonderful times! ~* RIP David Cassidy..

Met Dan at a music convention about 15 years ago. I shook his hand and said good job on overcoming your addictions. He looked me dead in the eye and said thank you.

Aw! David, rest in peace. You really undervalued your talent, especially, as an actor. You had great comic timing, especially with danny bonoduce. I loved the partridge family, it was, corny, silly, but great popcorn fun. The music was really good for a t.v. show, and you had a good singing voice. M y favorite episode was when you, danny reuben, went to check on shirley and laurie on their private camping trip. That was halarious, course you had to bring your guitar! You will be fondly remembered david, by family, friends, and the music industry, some will say will say you were a small fish in a big pond, but so what, you were still in the water. But the fans, like me, will hold their old tiger-beat magazines and sing "I think I love you" and we do david. You faced your illness with courage, and a reminder to people not to be too harsh on a persons behavior, whether intoxicated or not. You never know what the cause is. My condolences to the family and friends of david. I will always be able to watch david on my partridge family dvds. Thank you david fot the memories. Go with god.

I also am 67. And. Yes. Dementia is a concern for all baby boomers but just have to live for today and not dwell on it cause just have to take each day as if it is your last. I also LOVED David Cassidy. He was the best. So sad

Take care of your body and mind and don't drink in excess. Everyone that gets older has a little forgetfulness. His alcoholism is what killed him not dementia.
