FINAL DAY!
This is it then, our last day on the West Highland way.
A day that consisted of just under 15 miles from Kinlochleven to Fort William lasting 6 hours.
we had initially decided to set up camp at Glen Nevis campsite and walk the last 2 miles with no weight, explore Fort William then head back to camp however...... we just carried on to Fort William.
It didn't seem right we'd came all this way to drop the bags off like that so we didn't but we also didn't walk back to the campsite either as we'd managed to get a hotel in town which allowed us to celebrate in a way our journey deserved.
we enjoyed a great meal and a few drinks then back at the hotel we freshened up in a bath with a bath bomb we purchased from a gift shop!
I loved the train back to Milngavie, something warming about it as we'd seen it a lot on the way to Fort William whilst walking, I felt complete.
I'm sure the heron was in that river the hole time we walked. How strange we saw it on day one for it to be there when we got back
