Good video! I got my DDM4V7P in the 300 BLK flavor and love it. I have to admit I like polymer bolt cover. After a couple hundred rounds through it with zero failures, there's no marks on the anodizing finish on the receiver where the cover snaps against it - and I'm always keeping it closed when handling. Old habits from my service background. Also, the safety/fun selector on my (recent production) unit is steel, from the factory. Several reviews show that DD was using polymer selectors, at least for a while.

Thanks. Yea I’m trying to, time is a factor.. But, I finally got it all sighted in and changed up some. It’s amazing from the balance to accuracy, to impulses. Well rounded for sure and happy with it. It’s in the top of the rotation for sure

Did you ever find Uber steel insert for the QD doing point on the foregrip?? Over looked and looked and can not find the steel insert that is supposed to be in the rail in order to mount a sling in the rail that doesn't fall off with a simple pull??? I've heard there is one and have never found it on pistol. I've fixed the problem by buying a 1913 QD mount, but would liked to see if I looked it much better if it was actually mounted to the MLoc trail with the solid steel insert that is supposed to be there... Thanks in advance for your reply...

@@devildog_iii3492 I have a BCM 1913 angle mount QD on mine now, but with a surfie light and pressure pad, the rail space is at a premium... I may not change to a rail QD mount, but would like to have the option. I've looked and looked for the steel insert that is supposed to be on the gun that is moveable to which ever QD hope you choose and don't see it anywhere. Last person I asked said it was near the magazine release, but nothing on my pistol.

I just got the v7 pistol with law tactical folder. Love it so far. Put mro, geissele ssa trigger, gieesele h2 buffer and spring, gieesele airborne charging handle, and magpul pro irons on it. I like the law folder but it twist easily. Might change that. But some bcm m lok rail covers on it and it feels great. Thanks for the video

I have that model too! It’s amazing but I’m having the worse time tightening the law tactical stock. It gets super loose super quick.

Replaced my grip with a Reptilia and a FCD trigger guard. Much better than the weird DD grip. I need to replace the flash hider ASAP with a Surefire 3prong. The DD one lights up pretty bad at night to the eye and espically under NODs. I'm happy with my V7P, kinda wish I knew about the new RIS 3 11.5" before I bought it though. I would have waited for that.

Don’t stock pile ammo. Just enough to handle a situation that pops up.. but buy up as many firearms that you can before they try to take it away

No issues with it, may be a little over gassed. Havent suppressed this one.

Honestly I’m think about just getting all 3 so I’ll have 4 of the Daniel defense line up.. but I keep talking myself out of it because the m18 and v7 p are basically the same thing.. if you do a side by side comparison they are damn near twins.. so I can’t justify getting both v7 p and mark 18.. 🤷‍♂️…

Yea they basically are the same in a way. But just figure what u want. The 18 has a quad rail set up which is nice for mounting things faster/anywhere and it won’t heat up as fast/keep ur hands further away from barrel albeit 1/4”.. the v7 is nominally lighter and thinner due to Mlok. And the muzzle devises. So do u shoot fast enough to heat up the Mlok? Are u using a C grip etc

Not gonna lie i like the grip it reminds me of a revolve, something different for an ar…..

Why would you spend $1200.00 on a AR platform just to make a video whining about the features of it. As an Marine who served 1985 - 1991 you took what was given to you and got the job done. No bitching about safety, pins or whatever got your Victoria Secret's panties bunched up your cheeks. What did I bitch about Devil? Honestly can’t remember. And u guys never made field repairs or had the armory? We didn’t have ambi safeties either. I bought it at a great deal from a dept. And this was what I thought about it, so maybe someone with a smaller pocket has more to think about when deciding on spending this much $ that’s why.

@@devildog_iii3492 During Panama and Desert Storm I never had any issues with my A2 or my M60. I just saw your vid and was thinking why is he nit-picking on such a really nice weapon. Maybe I'm just a simple Ol Marine and adhere to the K.I.S.S. principle. I also have 18+ yrs as a Deputy Sheriff and had have the privilege to shoot different platforms of firearms. I was never impressed by big names and big price tags. If it worked, was accurate and performance was repeatable than it was good enough for yours truly. Stay safe and Semper Fedelis hard charger.

I loved my FN A2, was perfect for me. And my 240.. when I got out I didn’t touch one for years. This one I can feel the difference between some of the cheaper ones when I shoot and move with it. Just a great solid carbine. But if I recall the ambi safety hit my trigger finger when making ready and worried it would cause a malfunction. Seemed excessively long unlike the A4 I have from Colt which is stubby and out of the way. I’m usually very minimal but wanted this as a home/BUB set up. SF
