What’s sad about Danileigh is that she had so much potential. Not many people can say they were discovered by and mentored by Prince. That’s a HUGE accomplishment. I don’t think most industry plants know that they are apart of the plan. Instant, or seemingly quick success, doesn’t necessarily equate to one being a plant; but the powers that be can definitely hijack and manipulate artists to abiding by their agenda.

Yes they will think their label is going to the right kind of lengths to get them seen and heard. She threw a fit when her alt/experimental songs got the most buzz/attention like Kill Bill then mentioned how songs she was passionate about like Snooze didn’t get any attention (EARY BACK WHEN THE ALBUM CAME OUT not now). This is why I'm a firm believer in your personal life can/will affect your work. People need to learn to keep their personal life personal and off social media.

I agree with Sza, who is basically making the same statement as Beyonce with the Cowboy Carter album. The music industry is racist. They put black artists in a box, while white artists are allowed to flourish, explore genres, and receive a variety of accolades based on the music, not their race. It's not cool. Everyone should be calling them out for it. Also, I wasn't impressed with Normani's new single, but it might grow on me.

I’m Namibian and even I knew who Tyla was. I first saw her in 2021 with her song Getting late. I knew she would one day blow up.
