Ever since I watched Tsuchiya-san racing an AE86 at Tsukuba for N2 in HotVersion, I’ve been dreaming about my own 86 touring car. It has taken years to get here, but finally, we have made it on the grid.

Finally! The content we're hear to see. As much as the Supra and M2 are cool, they did feel a little "pay to win". This will be a proper grind, and fun to watch. Plus K is the way.

Agreed to an extent. M2 and Supra built the foundation of PhD, and without them I wouldn’t be able to build this dream of mine.

Honestly wheel to wheel content POV style is really cool. I think as the car improves this might actually be better than Time Attack!
Love the AE86 chassis for door to door racing. Most have been used for drifting

Love all the content but this is what you were meant to do. Sliding and rowing through the gears and really driving the car! Reminds me of the olds days when you were ripping the s2000.

Love wheel to wheel, this reminded me of my CRX where 5 laps in my shifter box lost the screws and scrapped the ground, at the same time the side exit exhaust let go and scrapped the ground as well. I hate custom side exit exhausts in a racecar lol, they make exhaust hangers for a reason

The over heating issue can be caused by the car running too lean.
Guys will look at this and say "Hell yeah" Hell yeah
W test and tune race! Imagine being able to go 100% braking and throttle. Look into electric power steering (heard it kills the feel of the car though).

Not interested in power steering in this build. This is a driver’s car, manual everything!!
Really nice midrange for that K24 (probably because of car's weight), perhaps tune to enhance mid range and drop redline is the way.
Really enjoyed this. Well driven. I would question the temps as I think they changed too quickly. Maybe a hood vent behind the rad helps. Liked and subscribed
