That Sakura with the pompoms at 8:29 , it seems like it would be hard to make it look crisp and it looks like they did it well. (Ah, you just talked about it later in the video)

Love how you melting with Yui-chan everytime she show up, she's our tomato-kun here and her kawaiiness charming level is over 9.000!! Moa-chan was the Student Council President in this final year for them and that's why she got the spot, she really love this song too. Love this SG song, is different from the usual J-rock songs they used to dance, the sound of this reminds me another song that I like from September - Satellites. At 8:08 you can see an easter egg of a little mistake from one on the right, she confess this by herself and this flaw really went under the radar until she spoke about it lol Thanks for sharing this and giving a breakdown of this song.💮❤️

I’m so glad you did this one. I like to watch for the part where Megumi messes up and crouches down when she not supposed to. She wanted it edited out but I think it makes it more fun to watch.

Great reaction. It’s adorable watching you react to these super cute Sakura Gakuin videos. If you want to see something insanely cute there is some pretty heartwarming Babymetal lore around this one song. It’s called “over the future” and it was originally by a 3 girl group called “Karen girls” which had a very tiny Su-Metal before she was in Sakura Gakuin. (that is video one, the “dance version” of the music video). It’s a banger of a song and was loved by Moa and Yui which is why they chose to dance to that for their audition to be in Sakura Gakuin. They absolutely loved Karen Girls and were super excited at the possibility of getting to be in Sakura Gakuin with Suzuka. (The Moa/Yui Sakura Gakuin audition tape is video two) Finally, this all comes full circle when Babymetal performed a cover of “Over the Future” on stage once. Moa and Yui look like they’ve never been so happy. It’s just incredible and adorable. (That one is easy to find, just search Over the Future, Babymetal) If you do watch them, I’m curious to see what you have to say about an aspect of the dance where they keep one hand on their hip nearly the entire song.

Yui was especially moved that the songwriter captured her feelings of being separated from the other Sakura Gakuin members (and missing their Tokyo Idol Festival appearance) while she was on a world tour with BABYMETAL. That was when they were touring with Lady Gaga.

A pretty long ago, I made a mistake in English and wrote 'Moa is taller than Rinon' in a comment of mine, and 0okamino replyed me 'There are 5 members of Sakura Gakuin who are taller than Rinon in the past. Who are they?' I recognized three of them right away, one was a late member, Miki Yagi, I was not sure about at the time, and got her with his help, and I answered the last one by watching this dance video, haha. Man I'm liking the current run of reactions! Using cheerleading for the dance is useful as SG had a wide range of dance skill levels and with this sort of pom-pom dancing everyone can learn the steps and their positions and you can edit sections together easily. This is a bit of a showcase for the Sakura Gakuin seniors, Yui, Moa, Hana and Yunano. The lyrics reference Alice in Wonderland's rabbit (usagi), to evoke another dream state world, and different people being under the same moon, so there's a tentative link to BM's "Akatsuki". You've, appropriately, reviewed the dance video, but there's another one that cuts to scenes of SG dressed as woodland nymphs in an alternate forest universe and after some initial hesitation the Moas from the separate universes open the door between them. The message has a bit of ecology and protecting the Earth, but mostly it's about fellowship with everyone on the Earth even if they are different. Yuimetal and Moametal outside of Babymetal! There is another Babymetal connection to the song. Yui and Moa were on tour with Babymetal in the US, opening for Lady Gaga at the same time TIF, Tokyio Idol Festival, one of Sakura Gakuin's biggest shows of the year, was going on. So Yui and Moa could not make TIF (they did appear by video). But some of the lyrics were inspired by that, one heart joined under a creamy sky

I like how you smile every time Yui comes up. She really is the cutest girl ever. I'm not that much into Pop music, but I love SG, and this song is irresistible. The chorus is hard to beat in terms of catchiness (probably only by Su's graduation song "My Graduation Toss").

Usagi means rabbit and it can be used as a name... Funny you mentioned Alice in Borderland. The forensic scientist, Ann, is portrayed by Miyoshi Ayaka, former member of Sakura Gakuin. She was in the very first formation of the group and was the first one to graduate (along with Mutou Ayami and Matsui Airi), so you'll only find her on their earlier material, such as Friends, Verishuvi and that dance performance you reacted before. She's one of the tallest girls in the group (at the time), so it's easy to spot her.

Yui was a little off with her pompom placement for some of the letters. Funny because as a Babymetal dancer she is so precise. Fans call her Yuibot for this reason & when she lags.
