Both of these guys have averaged a similar amount of fighter per year since they started in the UFC and that’s with Jon’s “weight increase”. So why wouldn’t he be PFP? He’s been beating top talent for a lot longer. Compare the last couple of #1 PFP fighters and you’ll see Islam’s resume is the weakest. Volk, Usman, Izzy, Jon. Islam has 1 defense against an actual LW (Dustin) and his activity since 2021 is due to him gunning for the title. Both of these guys are victims and benefactors of their divisions. Who are the Dustin, Justin, Conor, Charles of LHW or HW? At what point has LW not been cursed and allowed the current champion to fight who they need to?

@@arey17859 He wouldn’t. Once Jones and Stipe fight Aspinall will be stripped of the interim belt. Jones will still be the Undisputed Champ until the next undisputed fight.

People move down all the time. Aldo from 145 to 135, Barboza from 155 to 145, Cannonier from HW to 185. Nobody has ever moved down to become a champion in a double champ fight tho

When official score is a draw ( first 2 rounds for reyes and last 2 rounds for jones, and round 3 was close), you have to decide a winner, so you consider the "invisible rules" (last rounds are more important for ex) I know you can lil bro, it is not that hard to understand

You have zero idea how scoring works there are no “invisible rules” about last rounds counting more. And i would say first 3 rounds clearly Reyes, round 4 was close.

@@Dru2037 Volk is literally a better win than any Jones has ever had. Only DC is close. Olivera and Poirier are better than every single Jon win apart from DC. When will people realise LHW and HW are bad divisions with not much talent. Bantamweight to welterweight all have 70-90 guys in each division LHW and HW only have 30-40. They’re shallow bad divisions. By definition of pound for pound the champs of those divisions should be higher on any pfp list, they’ve faced more diverse and skilled competition on average.

Lucas Conor didn’t have success moving up. His record is 7-0 at FW and 1-3 at LW. Moving up is only good if you can’t make the weight. Also Izzy, Volk, Rockhold, Weidman, Darren Till, etc couldn’t move up. Also Aldo and Cannonier had success moving down. And imagine how much success Colby would’ve had if he fought at 145.

Is your camera mounted on a running blender?

If stipe wins, are people gonna say it was a dumb matchup? Cause that would be a very legendary win and probably the best retirement fight of all time cause of jones having goat status. Stipe has better hands and could defend takedowns, so I’m pretty excited

Yes, because the returning linear champion should fight the interim champion. Even if Aspinall loses to Blaydes, it’s irrelevant. The interim could be being help by Strawberry Shortcake or by Superman, if there is an active interim champion who is willing and able to compete upon the return of the linear champion, they should always fight

I mean the fight is not what it could have been and not what it should have been, but stipe vs jones will still be an awesome fight two legends, past their prime, fighting for the “heavyweight” championship. I understand why people are annoyed and sick of it but I still think we should be excited about it.

I have never unsubscribed as much from a single channel as I have with this one. I keep giving him second, third, fourth etc chances and Lucas Tracy still manages to produce disappointing, garbage content. It’s just not entertaining 🤷🏿‍♂️

Most people move up to get double champ status because most already fight at the lowest weight they can so going down a class when you are already passing out making it to the scale at the weight they already are is impossible. If you fight skin and bone at 145 it will be impossible to go down to 135

If jon fights miocic and Stipe knocks jon out it may the greatest moment of "cherry picking gone wrong"
