Found Derek this year and the guy is an incredible wealth of knowledge. So pumped to see him on Joe's show!

Jones has been failing tests for years now. Anyone who doubts his rampant gear use is in denial. Joe did seem fanboyish, but in his defense he does like to ask questions and play devils advocate. Both things can be true at the same time in this case. Btw, arguing that other fighters use PEDs doesnt at all justify jones doing it. The reason is for every 5 fighters that dope, theres 1 that doesnt who gets the unfair shake of it. And for that reason jones should be viewed as a cheating coward until he tests clean. And even then people will never really trust his results due to cycling. Hes effectively ruined any legacy he couldve had, at least in the eyes of anyone who lives in reality.

His specialization is more focused than what any degree will usually get you, as well as the fact that from everything I’ve seen he never stops studying. I’m a bio major and I’ve had to study to keep up with the terminology he uses in his vids, and I have never found a single time where he was wrong. He is by far the most educated KZreadr in that specific area. It’s a relatively niche area but within it he is more knowledgeable than anyone else on the platform

ive been studying PEDs/nutrition/fitness/supps since 2012, i worked in gyms and nutrition stores for a few years, and i did bodybuilding for several years and im the guy everyone from my area will come to for advice on those subjects or to buy "stuff".. ive been searching the internet for the best source of info since 2012 including actually going to endocrinologists (endos surprisingly dont know shit despite going to school for it) and Derek is without a doubt the most knowledgeable person ive ever seen and many times hes said stuff that has went completely over my head but everything he talks about is 100% truth but he also never acts like or claims to know everything and has the humility to admit when he doesnt know something or could be wrong... which is amazing considering every endo ive gone to think theyre the god of knowledge and you cant tell them shit...

The clomid letrozole is easy to explain, he was on a heavier cycle then used those to restore his HPTA so he could test “clean” for his fight. But he didn’t expect to be tested when he was still using them

Joe is completely unwilling to admit that these fighters are juicing. He tries to pull out any excuse.

he knows hes not stupid truth is they all dope. They microdose and know how to beat tests using masking agents as well as undetectable compounds. The drug makers are always aheads of the drug testers. If they are at the top level of sports hood chance they have doped at some point especially fighting the body needs those substances simply to keep up with the work load and abuse to body.

Joe: "For people who don't know what we're talking about, let's try and explain this simpler" Derek : starts using even bigger words and more elaborate examples referencing scientific studies.

Great to see Derek on the podcast, he's such a great and knowledgable guy.

Derek is proof positive if you just follow your passion and dreams, believe in yourself and persist you will do things and get the attention of people you would have never thought possible. Same. Not sure how many subscribers he had when I found him, but I'm pretty sure it was around early 2019, maybe late 2018. He didn't have many videos out then I think. He definitely didn't crank them out as fast as he does now, but he was still making videos like crazy back then. Way more than many other youtubers. Derek is the reason I will stay natty.

He handled himself great on the pod, some poeple you can tell are tense but not Derek, his boulders gave him the confidence he needed too keep from freaking out
