There is a way to be confident without sounding like you know/understand everything more than anyone else. He always talks about how he’s the biggest fighter on a given card, how he’s the draw, which is just silly. He refers to himself in the 3rd person, I’ve heard him refer to himself as a “very talented young man.” Forget the stuff with his wife and all that, I don’t care about that, but the first time I saw an interview with him he just rubbed me wrong. It seems forced, rehearsed, too much of a character. Like a kind of bad Connor imitation. People like someone genuine and with some humility, I don’t think he has either. Again, the wife/family stuff means nothing to me. I’m not a Colby fan and I do think Garry is a talented fighter, but on the mic I just don’t find him likable at all. That’s my take.

The reason he gets hate is he made things personal with certain fighters which he is not known for that. He will be nice behind close doors. Then when the thing with his wife came up, he turned off his comments on IG and couldnt take the heat he was dishing. Then hes saying that MVP is talking smack when Ian was the one started it first.
