Please continue this. I want to see Dan react to the philosophical and deep/sad parts of this game (and perhaps even The Beginner's Guide as well). And Arin seeing all of the gags/game design decisions taking into account player interaction would be pretty cool, as he has shown to be interested in such things with his Sequelitis series.

I can't believe they not only forgot the pin to the Boss's secret passage in such a short period of time, but firmly believed it had changed. 11 years deep and their short-term memory loss never ceases to amaze me.

I recently graduated from college as an adult student. One of the last classes I took was a study of Adventure games. We analyzed games like Phantasmagoria, multiple Kings Quests, point and clicks from the 90s, as well as more modern games, one of which was The Stanley Parable.

@@CPFace aside from the analysis of the games themselves, the overarching theme we noted in class was that Adventure games never died, they evolved. Also that Indy developers are really the only ones making true Adventure games now, as large companies see them as "not profitable" unless they have "action" attached to the genre.

Definitely want to see more!! My favorite ending is one you get to by going through the right door, following the narrator down the left path after the lounge and then taking the elevator down. Without giving too much away, this gets the narrator lost and starts a wild goose chase with some iconic moments!

please please keep going with this. there is so much more content in this game and you barely see any of it by following the narrator's instructions. this is one of my favorite existential games ever and the amount of different results you can reach is astounding. so happy to see you guys playing this again! i was a little sad to see you only played the demo once and a decade ago

Lucky duck. I had similar issues and was only gone 15 minutes. Got a bill in the mail for 80 bucks a week later. That was the parking fare for a FULL DAY in that lot. Insanity!

As someone who grew up with old video games, it's fun to encounter people that consider Dan as Grandpa. I'm a millennial, and can modern videogame to an extent, but even I old man stuff at this point. COD sprint is way too much, I'm gonna slow roll it and walk around aiming like an old man.

I love how Dan’s like “I’m moving the camera slowly so nobody gets seasick” while I’m so used to jagged, insane camera movements either from myself or regular let’s players, the slow move is WAY more unsettling lol. I know it works better for him though so it’s perfectly fine!

My wife and I were watching the Stanley Parable Steam Train episode the day before this video was uploaded wishing they would have played the full game. Then the next day, after getting off work from a job that tells me what to do and making spaghetti, I put on Game Grumps on my laptop while cooking and see not only are they playing this game again, but Arin mentions he misses working jobs where someone tells him what to do and going home to make spaghetti. I feel like I'm in the Stanley Parable.

Arin having the meatballs to goon his way into the creation of Game Grumps after he relinquished his former spaghetti thin life of having a job where he did exactly what he was told and then came home and apparently consumed spaghetti each day was the sauciest thing that ever happened to him.

Reactions to the game are one of the funnest parts of watching them, and I think Dan would have a good reaction to the false horror part of SUPERLIMINAL. Watching this, after I watched the original playthrough when I was a kid, then watched DougDoug play it with the creator, who is his brother, as a teenager, then coming to watch this new playthrough as an adult. Is giving me this incredibly weird feeling of looking back at my life, and seeing how playthroughs have shaped and formed who I am.

So glad they're doing another episode. I really hope they get to the new content but mostly I'm just excited that they're finally playing this, since they played the demo all those years ago.

GameGrumps Lunch Break Chronicles, Day 22: I dunno about you, but I’m feeling like some spicy ramen today. I can still taste stuff thankfully lol. The ramen is a 9/10. I also made sausage because why not.

I really hope they do more of this. I was disappointed that they only played the demo on Steam Train; especially after all the love that was put into the unique demo. I might just play it again after seeing this; it is certainly entertaining even after beating it.

I recently went to an art exhibit that felt like Stanley Parable. I'm in an art gallery, open a door, and suddenly in an office with desks, cubicles, plants, printers, and florescent lighting. I was alone and it felt absolutely surreal. Then a movie started playing on the wall of an office in unreal engin with this character model of the artist everywhere in mocap. The lights turn off and and switch to these flashing rave lights and the models start dancing and singing intensly. It was insane and awesome

I like how in about 20 minutes of playing the full game for the first time, Dan manages to get two of the most meta endings in the game.
