@@KairuHakubi ddlc is probably what you're thinking of. It's a little different because the visual novel style, in my opinion, makes it entirely different from a game where you walk around and freely adventure the deceiving world

This game is a lot like Game Grumps. One character is a concerned and carring entity that only wishes the best of others while the other is born at the age of 6 without a face.

Yes, when you're supposed to try wrong answers to get funny results, Arin doesn't, and when he's given clear instructions, he forgets them, like the oven timer. ^^' Classic Arin. That being said, he did remember everything else apparently.

Immediately Amanda and woolly cane out the gate with the same dynamic as Arin and Dan on the grumps channel

Arin managing to put the correct ingredient and thing into the play oven and then proceeding to put the cooking temperature in the alarm clock instead of the OVEN and then immediately says the games being esoteric is such an Arin-ism. Heavy Arincore vibes.

lol the ONE time Arin decides to NOT be a smartass at every turn by intentionally doing thing wrong and as a result, gets everything wrong.

I love how Dan recognizes that a doctor you talk to to get help is a therapist, but then 4 seconds later when they’re at the doctors office, they both have no clue what the talking door means.

I really wanted to hear what their thought process was when holding the pause button at the TV and seeing the wires coming out of the hole saying "pause" instead of just going "aw...." and moving on

Wooly’s expressions and actual voice lines in this game had me rolling, geez. 🤣

An obvious wire sticking out of the TV/VCR where a pause button should go. Arin: "I have no idea where this goes..."

The vibe of the apple pie cooking/knife wielding Amanda and Wooly scene has the same basic energy of Dan and Arin on The Grumps channel.

Yet another game that explains exactly what to do in the tutorial, and Arin struggles for 10 minutes.

It's so nice seeing them play popular games, PLEASE finish it, the puzzles can be a little tricky sometimes but just know that if you're ever stuck just keep on rewatching the tapes. Also, the tapes have multiple puzzles in them. The first tape tells you to use the pause button. You pause it when it shows the oven burning on the fridge, then walk out and crank the oven to the highest, then walk back and see what happens on the tape.

It never ceases to amaze me how funny it is to watch these 2 struggle so bad.

I like how they saw the exposed sparking cord for the pause/eject button on the TV and concluded there was nowhere to put the button.

Nah actually. I expected this during Halloween. I was so surprised they took so long to play it. In terms of scary games. This is something they would def play

"And the snitches!" Is both hilarious and very true in wooly's case. Im fairly certain wooly is evil tho cuz amanda is trying to escape the demons and get back to her actual body but wooly is like actively trying to both suppress and keep her calm. Calm keeps the demons away but it doesnt help her either...

i know nothing about this game, or how to solve the puzzles, so i see this an absolute win in terms of watching a playthrough (as someone who solves puzzles like arin does in games, which is just to just fuckin strongarm my way through until something works lmao)

I can’t wait to see the utter confusion as it goes rapidly downhill 😂

I’m thoroughly impressed with how fast the grumps figured out these puzzles in this game. But it was just funny that Arin was saying the first one was the hardest even though the first is really just straight instructions. they just happened to miss the fact that it said 40 min for the oven time, not 45 or 50.
