Favorite point of the episode is at 20:35 where Arin zooms in on a sign with a picture of the country of Spain on it and still takes the entire rest of the time to guess Spain

Just a small hint for you guys: there’s a compass on the bottom left of the screen, and you can use it to figure out if you’re in the Northern or Southern Hemisphere. If the sun is somewhere in the south half of the sky it means you’re in the Northern Hemisphere, and if it’s in the north, you’re in the Southern Hemisphere. If anyone wants any other Geoguessr tips let me know!

Love the immense frustration that comes with Arin not realizing he has to abandon the search and actually use all the guesses on random shit when time gets low.

I can't say how glad I am that they got Czechia - my nation, my blood! And that they even tried to read some of the signs! I mean it was terrible pronunciation but it's the effort that counts. Plus it was bloody hilarious. So glad.

I lost it when he said "get away from my swing set" as Mr. Schwarzenegger. Yes, I had to google how to spell his name.

GeoGuessr was my jam at my old workplace (When there was a lull), and it kept me from going bonkers. These episodes are awesome. I'd say as long as you enjoy doing it, you should keep making these videos. They're chill, they're wholesome, and they're entertaining to play along with!

I once read it fucked over the expectations of troops in the Korean War. They saw Korea was on the same latitude as Spain, so they were expecting a soft Spanish winter and were completely unprepared for the harsh Korean winter.

6:12 I was like “Reminds me of the irrigation systems we saw when landing in Amsterdam (studying natural resources abroad )” and it happened to be, in fact, the Netherlands. I am genuinely blown-away that I even remembered what they looked like.

I think the thing that we all latch onto with these geoguessr episodes (And pretty much any trivia game) is that we can join in and guess along, but with their commentary, it really just feels like hanging out with two friends, goofing around.

i did get slovenia wrong, i thought it was the czech republic. the word with just an r between two consonants is characteristic of czech, but apparently also slovenian, which i know a lot less about haha. i mean theyre related languages of course so i guess thats fair lol

Czech and Slovak are VERY very similar. I’d say they’re probably impossible to tell apart if you’re not a speaker of either. The only way to differentiate them would be to look at a sign with a list of nearby villages, as some suffixes are more common in Czechia vs. Slovakia

Some quick tips to tell Portuguese from Spanish: Portuguese has lots of words that end with M, while in Spanish those words would end with an N. Also look out for ã which only is in Portuguese, and ñ which only is in Spanish.

Pro Tip: All EU license plates have the same design, with a blue strip on the left side. If you see a blue blur on the left of a license plate, it's EU. Also UK is all white, Northern Ireland is yellow on rear, white on front (I think). By looking at license plate you can get the continent.

I love how giddy they both get. I was actually smiling throughout this
