@@Londrino the monkeys need to be clicked in a set order indicated by their eyes lighting up, if you click on the wrong one you have to start over but it's the same pattern every time

from left to right the monkeyys are 1,2,3 in order; the first one plays the cymbals 2 times, that means the next one to click is the second one, and so on

I just played this. I didn't get it either. I just assumed it was a memorization puzzle (like a million other games have)

I hope they do the entire Rusty Lake series, seems like the right balance of weird and interesting for Dan and Arin

Dan and Arin’s complete inability to follow a line of logic all the way through the puzzle is fascinating to witness. All the small objects in Ms Pheasant’s rom were for the puppet show, but they had to figure it out from scratch every time.

i guess its hard to keep track of logic like that when doing a show and talking to someone in an entertaining way? like when i talk to myself while doing a task i actually find myself drifting away from the task at hand; its very easy to get yourself distracted by just talking

I haven't played or watched anyone else, but you get the wine on the first night, right? Either when they get the cocktails and you step back and click on them or they're there after they retire to their rooms.

Grumps playing Rusty Lake games is a pipe dream I never thought I'd ever see, and now I'm here for it

seeing how barren and empty the grumps room is behind the cameras is like peeking into the backrooms. That was horrifying.

@xxosheannaxx2416 the most recent is "the past within" which is a bit experimental, you have to co-op it. I played with my sister, it was pretty cool, but i dont know how much it fits into the story line. The next most recent is "Samsara Room" from 2020, which I haven't played.

This is legit one of my favorite game series! I would love to see Arin and Dan explore the rest of the Rusty Lake mainline games

@@IRBork The Rusty Lake games actually started as a series of Flash games; Samsara Room (the spiritual predecessor to the Cube Escape games) was released back in 2013. It wasn't until a few years ago that they transitioned to a different software platform but they kept the feel of the old Flash games.

I love how Arin has the gameplay intelligence of a speak and spell.

I love the Rusty Lake and Cube Escape series. I recommend John Wolfe's playlist as I believe it is in order storywise.

Arin grumbling "how many fuckin licks" under his breath was so funny

I've never heard of this series but watching Dan and Arin solving these little puzzles while uncovering the weird plot is rather cathartic. It's nice to see them enjoying a game without having a mental breakdown......... yet lol

One of these days I hope we get a Game Grumps Compilation that's all the times Dan tells Arin to take it easy

This game finally providing the world with the authentic sound that a magician's rabbit made was almost more magical than Arin trying to open Mr. Deer's safe by starting with a number combination of 1-1-1-1 then attempting to increase the last number by one until he ultimately gave up on successfully opening said safe.

While I love puzzle games, I hate watching Arin trying to solve them. Because it is SO OBVIOUS that the scale is used to find the combo, and watching Arin and Dan fiddle with those weights is killing me.

I LOVE the Rusty Lake franchise. The games are really fun, the art style is great and the lore is fascinating. If you like this and you want to play more, I would suggest Rusty Lake Paradise, and their newest game, The Past Within. That last one is actually an exclusively coop 2-player game, so it'd be great for the grumps.

I love Rusty Lake Hotel. I'm glad they played this. Hoping they do others in the series

The rusty lake games are some of my favorite that I play over and over. Seeing Dan and Arin playing one makes me really happy

My favorite moments are when Arin is tinkering away at a puzzle and all u can hear is the sound of the game and arin fully concentrating.

I love rusty lake! Happy to see them getting attention from big KZreadrs recently. (this is the game that got me into the series), I would also recommend playing “the past within” it’s a co-op!

Interesting side note, "Jar Jar's Jar Jar Jar" was a fake game made by Oney as part of a JonTron Starcade episode. True story.

These two are already so good with voice acting it takes me a moment to realise thats not the game’s actual voice acting. Their best work has to be in the sam and max hit the road videos.

i like how most of their ads at the beginning are clearly satirical and are there solely for the money.

I can barely remember watching this game like years ago but now that you have made a video on it, I remember very clearly, thank you so much Game Grumps

Did not expect to wake up to this, this is exciting! I love the Rusty Lake and Cube Escape series, and I hope Dan and Arin consider playing the rest of it ♡ especially since the latest one is co-op, but would need knowledge of the other games to understand

The rusty Lake series is actually a really cool puzzle/mystery game series. i was super surprised to see this come up in my subs.

I love rusty lake hotel as a series so much the grumps are gonna suffer through these puzzles, I literally use a physical notepad when playing these. Lol, they are in for a shock when they realise this game is an outlier in the series. (I wish Dan would understand that liking anthro characters doesn't make him a furry if he doesn't want to be. it's literally a fandom you join)

I remember finding this game through a really nice animation video, and decided to check the series out. I hope GG continues playing more obscure indi games like this.

I so DESPERATELY want them to play more rusty lake games my friend got me into them this year and then suddenly the game grumps played this, I think they’d love it it’s all just spooky lore and “wtf” moments

When I saw the thumbnail for this, I was so excited. The Rusty Lake series is one of my favorite game series. That being said, this is a lot more than a furry game. The entire series is connected and there's deep lore involved. Definitely check out the rest of the series.

When Rusty lake made their first game a small KZreadr I was watching called riskrim(?) played it and after a few years of course I forgot about it I played one recent game a couple months ago because of a huge nostalgia moment that had a small movie with it too and I was excited to see that the series is still alive even though it doesn't seem like people care But now every KZreadr is starting to play the Rusty lake games and I am so excited after SO MANY years of these games being out there they are finally getting the attention they deserve!! It's absolutely beautiful and I hope every KZreadr and every viewer out there realizes how amazing this series of games is

I’m so glad they played this, the Rusty Lake series are so underrated Also yes, deer can be carnivorous! They of course don’t go out hunting, but they will gladly snack on a carcass or even eat small animals. In fact most herbivores do this, as it helps give them a boost in nutrients that their diet barely provides. They missed quite a few ways to get ingredients, as they’re not involved with the rooms. For example the part with the Bat, if you clicked on him when he’s back to normal, he will give you potatoes. Mr. Crow also has a carrot if you click on him, and tomatoes are found after Mr. Boar goes to the bathroom for the second time, it is very concerning. Some they will encounter in the future will require them to click something several times, which I’m not sure if they will think of to do lmao. And for the wines, you would’ve had to kill the guests in a certain order to retrieve the glasses in the lobby.

I love all these long content games. I feel like these point and click games are the perfect mix between games danny loves and the kind of humor and story telling arin likes

This is the first Game grumps video I actually watched a second time because it was so good. I highly reccomend the grumps to go into this creator's games and play all of them. They're funky and creepy and so well versed in atmosphere. And they make it 100 times funnier even tho the games are unsettling. (and Dan seems to like em. So.)
