Damian, I have heard /listened to your music music, but it was only tonight that I truly heard it in its most authentic truth. You were sitting on some yacht ....not wearing my glasses, so I can’t imagine where.... but it doesn’t matter... I write to ask you to come and share your music in this place, the yard, The Drawingroom, Ivan's Village. Chesham. There are just a few music venues which I believe can truly honour the music you have written and create. This, The Drawingroom, I truly believe it’s one of them. Obviously I can’t pay you a huge amount of money, but people here are generous, truly, I think you would refresh and rejuvenate yourself...enjoy your music in this place in a way that you may have forgotten....a rather unique space.... I think I've just stumble upon one of my favorite private concerts of all the time... I may be playing this a few more times

Me and a friend stood at the side of the stage as Damien headlined Latitude festival. He had the massive crowd in the palm of his hand the whole way through. He then came off stage and allowed a drunk me to give him a hug and he shared his bottle of red wine with us, so accommodating and down to earth despite clearly being sweaty and knackered.

It was in Sicily (Italy) before the show in Zafferana(CT) at the bottom of Etna Vulcano 🌋

omg how have I not seen this before? I adore that man, his music is just incredible, and this performance is really stunning, the singers and violinist doing a stupendous job, specially on Cold Water!

I think that last song just cracked my heart open. Times are tough, let's look out for each other and give each other time to heal.

Reminds me of an old musician who came to play at our school folk club in 1972.He was called Rory Gallagher but played acoustic that nite as we sat slack jawed in our purple loon trousers 😂

Damien Rice is LOVED THE WORLD OVER!!! HE is so humble!! I think he give his earnings to those in need. Best acoustic guitar and singer in this world. 🎉❤ IMO.

I was lucky enough to see this man playing live in Belfast many years back. The best gig I've ever been to; just incredible!
