Curry is a fine defender. Nothing incredible but given his stature at 6'2 and at age 35, he is perfectly fine. Especially for the offensive output he gives you. Like go look at the stats. Curry for his career has been offensively and defensively better than Lillard. Only this year at age 35 (dame age 33) is he comparable to Dame.. and Dame was a 2nd option this year. Curry has always been 1st option.

Curry was actually a pretty decent defender during their peak years. Obviously has fallen off over time, but you're right at least he tries and is usually in position. Dame barely knows what the right position is...

Lillard's defensive effort is so bad, he almost renders every offensive possession a 5-on-4 situation! Saying his effort is pathetic is an understatement!

As a Heat fan, Tyler is a better defender but not by much lol seeing Tyler defend fast breaks is the most frustrating thing.

This to me looks like years of bad habits built up in portland. The guy was never a part of a team that actually took winning seriously and was allowed to just take possessions off all the time. It won’t work in playoff basketball

It's mesmerizing - he's really among the worst defenders I have ever seen. A startling combination of disinterest and confusion - like, he rarely notices he's out of position, and when he does, its like you can watch him deciding 'that's not really my problem' and giving up in real time.

An elite 2 way player is rare in today's NBA.
