lol yes and in the end, he had a guy who worked for him, shoot and kill him when JR found out he was dying of cancer. He got the last laugh, because JR planned his own demise and devised a master plan to set up Cliff Barnes for his murder. JR exact his revenge on Cliff and to prevent Cliff from going after the Ewing family once he’s gone. JR knew that without him around, Bobby and the rest of the Ewing family, couldn’t destroy Cliff if he wasn’t around to stop him.

Sue Ellen told John Ross (when he wanted to know who took his fathers life) that half of the phone book in Dallas wanted his father gone.

Edgar’s mustache was just awful! Maybe he was trying to emulate Clark Gable! WhT got me pissed was in the previous season when Donna and Ray found out that JR was blackmailing Edgar Randolph after finding out that he molested a young girl in his youth. Donna and Ray were making stupid liberal excuses for him by saying that he got the help and he made a bad mistake. Sometimes I really cringed when Donna and Ray were self righteous and walking around pontificating about morals! Also Donna and Ray were always inviting themselves to coffee and meals at Southfork.. lol
