We actually found her owner once and surrendered her but she came back so we’re not sure if she ran away or dumped nevertheless they officially gave her up to us on February 8th. That’s when we got her to the vet and get treated. Her wound was badly infected. 😢 She’s well and happy now and HOME! 😻

@@annamay1051 I had the cat from next door come over like that. He was well cared for though and it was obvious he was loved. Guess he just wanted more. He did that for close to 14 years. He passed in September of 22. But not before he taught my then new kitten many life lessons over a 5 year stretch. I still see the old buddy in my tuxedo cat. Thinking of adopting another kitten so Tux can pass down what he learned

Thank you. We were touched by her especially. Many strays in the area but Daisy had it rough. She’s incredibly grateful but suffers from PTSD. It’s only been a month and we’re working with the vet to alleviate her anxiety.

Daisy is a lovely cat, but she isn't a calico. She's tortoiseshell and white. A calico is essentially a white cat with tan and black/tabby markings. I wish you and Daisy many years of love and cuddles.

Beautiful mix of colours.

I have 14 indoor cats and one feral I feed that's outside, BUT I've made a humongous frame that I was going to turn into a large cat house, it ove 7ft high, 7ft long and 2 ft deep. But that for me is not enough! I temporarily bought a self heating cat house near on £200.00 for him, but again that's still not good enough! I'm clearing out another spare room, as in another room is another adopted feral! Once I've cleared this other room and set it up, I'll get the feral trapped neutered, vaccinated and flea and worm treated and that'll be when he is in doors, with a small catio. I'll then be happy! He won't have to risk being attacked, eat something that could kill him, get lost or run over!. He'll be safe! The only reason he would possibly stay separated from the others would be if I can't gain his trust and becomes friendly, and would have to be kept separate. But I want him indoors. Especially when I move, I'm taking him with me as well. Thank you for taking daisy in and giving her a home❤️ I've been feeding my Chunky since June last year, but can't get close to him. I'm hoping that'll change once his indoors, if he don't, still not a problem, he'll still have a warm room, toys, beds and fresh food and water each day. At the moment because of being cold have been putting out 4 pouches of cat food plus 7 didn't different flavours of cat crunches. I have a motion detection camera set up over his food area and another inside his house. 😊❤

I would hope that anyone picking up a stray would endeavour to locate the owner first. Some are abandoned pets, some are lost. We did the right thing.

You said you found her owner but didn't say anything more about that, 😕 anyway as long as Daisy is ok.

We don’t know what happened after we surrendered her and why she came back. All we know is, her former owner “gave her up” to us when we were at the vets office. The vet contacted them. And that is how she got medical treatment. Daisy found her forever home. ❤

Cats must be inside the house, because the hit in summer is too much for then. During cold time they look for hit. Beside they can catch diseases

I would suggest to watch the whole video because that would answer all of your concerns. Daisy was only outside while we were trying to find her owner plus we have 4 cats to protect as well. While Daisy was outside she has a heated home that we provided. Daisy is now an INDOOR only cat! She’s now a happy, healthy and safe cat. The vet bill alone is enough to make sure that she stays inside and not exposed her to the outdoors anymore. Our cats are much, much older than her that we raised since they were kittens so I think we have enough experience on how to raise and keep the cats safe. Thanks for the comment.

Stray implies feral, she definately wasn't feral. Wish you'd take her inside to be safe, outdoors is the worse and most unsafe place to be, for a cat.
