That is what I thought as well.A truly feral mama wouldn't let you pet her,or let you handle the babies.They look pretty healthy as well.Definitely looks like somebody didn't want them and dumped them

That or they only sort of belong to someone. There's a cat that my neighbors feed. As far as I can tell, they never bring it indoors. But it's had several kittens, and they more or less looked okay.

As they grow, kittens need to run around and develop muscles, they need to play with each other. Mum needs a break from them, especially when she starts to wean them, then she teaches them manners. She will no longer keep their back ends as clean, they will need to learn to use a litter box. All of them will need to be cuddled and patted to get each one used to humans. They will be ready to leave their mum at 9 to 11 weeks old. You can have her spayed so she'll have no more kittens, don't wait too long, she'll be pregnant again. All the best.

Spaying is the female version of neutering (castration) it is removing the cats uterus and ovaries. That may sound worse than it is. Spaying and neutering is a really good idea. It prevents unwanted pregnancy as well as various health issues (like ovarian cancer) and It can reduce aggression.

Yes,she needs to be spayed,so she doesn't have more babies. Unfortunately the world has too many unwanted cats and kittens and dogs. Thank you for bringing them inside to be warm and taking care of them all

Poor mom kitty probably hasnt eaten that well in a while. Probably put out as soon as it became obvious she was pregnant. She is SO lucky to have found this kind human. She probably would have lost most of them if she hadnt found a kind human.

She seems to be a very young Mother, maybe her first Baby's. No matter if her first or fourth Mama is a very smart and resourceful. She chose you to help care for her Baby's, and it seems She picked the correct person......ThankYou for helping the beautiful young Mother, it's a true honor to be the chosen one..

It's so true. When my family moved hundreds of miles, right as we were walking into the door of our new house, the bottom came apart from our cat crate and in the rural darkness the cats disappeared into the miles of forest. Very sad because one was just gone. She was extremely shy and attached only to my father, who was aging and in very bad health. Three years later, he was moved to an end of life facility. And it sounds made up, but it is 100% true, his cat appeared at our sliding door wearing a flea collar! She would not come inside, and only nibbled at food, but came every night for three days until he passed away, then she just vanished again. Literally never saw her again the years after. I don't know what to make of it, really. It was easy to know it was her because of the specific rare type of callico markings- we even compared pictures. We were very glad to know she was clearly doing well, but how did she know? What was she waiting for? Do cats help spirits get home, or all pets in general? Mysteries of the world.

Cats are such great mommies most of the time. So darn cute that this mother cat trusts this person.

The kittens need to run about and pounce. They are not getting exercise. By now, you should know that the kittens a mama cat are not carrying disease. Do you have an extra room in your apartment? You know, it's up to you to get them shots and neutered. Maybe a rescue organization would help with the cost, if you are willing to be the foster for them, and let them keep the adoption fee. Anyway, very good on you for taking care of them. You are a very worthwhile person. ❤️

I agree with this message. Bless you for caring for thus mother and her children. I hope they all get good homes if you can't keep all of them. I once cared for seven cats. It was time consuming and costly, but I loved doing it and got lots of love in return.
