In my early 30’s I had full hip replacement and now that hip is 18 years old and giving me trouble- I so get what you mean. Hang in there and I wish you nothing but great days ahead!

Its so peaceful, I wish my soul could just enjoy this for a few days.

That is hilarious. I live in Minnesota too, and that is why I watch this channel too. It helps me get through winter, and reminds me that it could be worse. They have 8 months instead of sometimes 6 months. Living in a polar climate like Minnesota and Svalbard, you know that climate change and global warming doesn't exist.

I came to say the same thing! I build A LOT of Legos with my 8 year old grandson who is on the autism spectrum. He is crazy good at building Legos & we have a lot of his builds on display on shelving in his room & the family room. I’ve bought quite a few of the light sets to go with the ones I could find the sets for. They look so cool all lit up!

Getting out is definitely part of it. We tend to become more indoor people when winter comes, but that comes with its own emotional challenges eventually. Getting out in the fresh air, especially when it's sunny, is so important!

Me: That's a "girl dinner" if I ever saw one. Cecilia 2 seconds later: I don't think anything can be more "girl dinner" than this.

When this season hits, you always get that extra burst of energy in your step and you are so ready to cozy everything up! From the cookbook, I have tried the beef stew, pancakes and pickled beets. I had to purchase cloves and allspice - I have not cooked with those spices before. Wonderful! thank you both!
