I'm so happy to be back with a video from my daily life here in the North. We are now in February and the winter is still at it's peak, but the light is slowly coming back to us now.
I recorded this video last week and it contains a little bit of everything. Everyday life and work and beautiful winter days. I also started the project of recording sounds every night in the "creepy forest", which is the forest just behind our homestead, and which has been a mystic place ever since we moved here.
I also talk a bit about the BEAUTIFUL response I/we got on the previous video with all the messaged from people all around the world. From the bottom of my heart, thank you everyone! ♥

During the footage of your lovely evening walk you captured some great shots of the Orion constellation (i.e. 14:22) and I had this profound kind of humbling moment... I come from New Zealand and my first thought was 'oh Orion is upside down', then 'wow we are so tiny, someone on the other side of the earth can see the same stars', but this thought turned into 'WOW how beautifully connected we are, that we can look up at the same stars from opposite ends of the earth'. ♥

I have ridden horses from one barn to another during winter years ago, and the usual short trail was unexpectedly blocked by barbed wire for new cow pastures. After tracking back, and riding to the other side of the valley, it got dark. But with the full moon and a lot of snow to reflect the moonlight, it was so light and beautiful in the forest! The snow crushing under the horses feet, their warm fuzzy back warming me (rode without a saddle) and the moonlight sparkling on the trees - it was just MAGICAL! It was one of the most beautiful experiences in my life 💕

It was cute to see Johan grumpy about coffee - his grumpy is hard to detect since he is so gentle. The messages at the end made me cry again, especially Katarina from the Ukraine - if that beautiful lady is hopeful, then we can all be hopeful. And Andy, so good to hear that message - when you hear it from someone real, it is so comforting, because I always think everyone but me has it all figured out. And Selma, so heartfelt and heartwarming. Wendela - you rock girl! And Benjamin, lovely. All the messages were wonderful! Thank you for making this beautiful channel, Jonna, which has come to feel like a community because of your generosity and love. Johan is so naturally funny without trying to be. I love the fact that he seems more comfortable to share his unique personality with us. Can't wait for updates re Creepy Forest. I can't remember if there was some sordid history about the place? I know there's some ancestral links, but wondering if there are long forgotten events that would explain this haunted feeling? Lastly, each time I see one of the "What would you say to 4 million people" subscriber videos, I feel like I want to meet all these folks. Goodness me, I'd travel far for a chance to meet and chat with Melinda Sue for instance! What a kickass lady with so much wisdom and character. I know you're an introvert Jonna, but my oh my....imagine an event that would allow for all those who follow you to get together and interact. It really is a unique tribe. These videos, coming from every corner of the world, from diverse cultures and backgrounds, offering unique yet universal words of Hope and Love, have truly strengthened my faith in Humanity. It's true what world travellers say, most people in the world are good and decent, it's the greedy and corrupt concentrated powers that breed Evil. Your channel is like that candle that Katarina from Ukraine referred to. You have found and lit your own flame. And now you're lighting countless others in a united worship of Love, kindness, beauty and simplicity. We may just start a fire.

The forest. As you know, the forest is alive. Forests have a collective memory. They never forget. It may have some kind of resentment and that is the uneasy feeling you have from it. Maybe something terrible happened long ago and the forest holds onto that feeling? Whatever the case, you are such a kind and gentle soul. You have a respect for nature and the world. I don't think the forest would allow anything bad to happen to you.

I'm honestly so excited to hear more about the creepy forest. I used to live in front of a large forest that was behind our house here in Denmark. It too had these creepy things happening and these sounds coming from it. I'm glad I'm not the only one having these experiences!

The scenery where you live, winter or summer is so otherworldly to me. The snow always makes everywhere seem magical but it’s not than that. Jonna, you emanate a spiritual energy that seems to come from a place of evolution or perhaps it comes from within you, an ancient place that is within us all but has been forgotten. I appreciate the way you reach so many of us from all over the world. To hear their voice is emotional and strong and lifts one another. Thank you Jonna 💐🥰🙅‍♀️🙅‍♀️

Animals are so in tune with the spirit world and he would know if it's a creepy or magical forest. Thank you for showing the part in the video where Nanook is playing with his bunny💞 He reminds me so much of my beloved Charlie. 💔❤‍🩹 And congratulation on the scholarship win last year. I have had similar experiences in the deep woods of the Rocky Mountains in the USA. I know most people will think I’m nuts but I have no doubt that that there are wild people roaming the forests and mountains of this planet. People give them different names, Bigfoot, Sasquatch, Yowie, Yeti and many others but Jonna’s experience with these sounds is not abnormal for people who live adjacent to large tracts of wilderness. There is something or someone out there, many hundreds of thousands of people have claimed to have seen one, heard them, and had interactions with these creatures. If only one witness is telling the truth then these beings exist.

Hej from Jamtland, where we are currently under some feet of snow still. :) Luckily I love snow. So does my Border Collie, Bran. Today the sun has come out, it makes the snow begin to melt on the rooves and drip, drip onto the ground. Then night arrives and it gets cold again and occasionally snow too. I'm not a native to Sweden (am Scottish) so this is my first Swedish winter and have to say, it was very like those of my childhood back in Scotland. I cherish the snow because we used to have such snows in Scotland until I reached adulthood, then almost overnight they vanished, and something very precious is now missing from winter there. One new thing for me here....hearing an elk roar in the forest around our home. I didn't have a clue what it was, we were outside in the middle of the night and it was so very quiet, then all of a sudden this roar came out of the trees! It gets so quiet here we forget the life in the forest aside from people. That was a lovely reminder. :) The moonlight on the snow is lovely, more so when it sets the snow to sparkling like diamonds.

The first time you hear a female fox mating call while your out on a walk will be more of an experience .. it will happen eventually and it will freak you out since it sounds like the scream of someone being murdered. Maybe you've already heard it before whilst out in nature. When they are relatively close and they surprise you by interupptiong the complete silence with their horrifying mating call it really makes anyone jump. Happened a few times growing up in Västerbotten. I've also lived outside Östersund.,. Jämtland is good county my friend.

I’m so sorry for where you find yourself. I have taken up an old habit that helped me through many anxious years in high school and college and gave me peace and an unexpected joy: reading the Bible. Just yesterday, I looked over in the corner where I’ve been sitting to read it everyday and noticed it was lit, kind of like the opposite of a creepy forest. It surprised me and confirmed I was doing something good.

I’m in the same situation, studying abroad with a language barrier that I’m only slowly crossing 😢 I don’t know what may have lead you to it but personally, remembering how hard I worked to get where I am, I hold hope in my heart that the right people will come by, and that I’d rather have no friends than forced, bad ones 💜
