This is I think my third scripted tv show that I’ve been able to watch in its entirety. I’ve discovered that I’m unable to watch modern-day story line tv shows and need olden days like 1900s or before without modern day love scenes

Love Kevin McGarry! Loved WCTH till season 8. Hated season 8. Did not watch season 9. Nathan should have been with Elizabeth. Instead he has bounced from woman to woman. He is one of the most important characters, for crying out loud. Bring someone on the show that will have that same spark as Nathan and Elizabeth had if you want a season 11.

It wouldn’t have made sense to have paired up Nathan and Elizabeth. The storyline and the character arcs would not have justified it. If you took time to rewatch all of the scenes between E/L going back to S6 you would see the friendship develop and the love develop. The triangle was never actually about E/L/N. It was really about E/L/J. Until she grieved Jack’s death and could fully process his loss, she couldn’t move on. You missed a fabulous season in S9. It was absolutely lovely.

@@juliewindsor9354 everyone has their favorite characters on shows like this. I don't have to take the time to rewatch any scenes. I saw the chemistry between Elizabeth and Nathan. I was a faithful fan until season 8. And I did not miss season 9 one bit. It's a show. We all have different opinions. In my opinion a lady would have never chosen a saloon owner over a mountie. That's just not realistic. I like the character of Lucas. Just not with the school teacher.

​@@juliewindsor9354apparently you were wrong. S6 forward was always about Elizabeth and Nathan eventually coming together in love. It was their love story, Nathan and Elizabeth's love story S11, episode 11 proved that!

​@@normasmither202hope you watched S11 it was the story about Elizabeth and Nathan's finding their way to each other. It was Elizabeth and Nathan's love story from S6 forward. Elizabeth just rejected Nathan out of fear until she followed her heart and couldn't deny anymore that she is in love with Nathan! ❤😊
