Not really Any spam deck or high health card can do serious damage So showing only the cards that the tower can defend is really not accurate I'm an end game player and I can comfortably say it's the worst so far Princess is still on top with the freedom to play any deck u want But Caneneer is slightly better with his special decks

​@@user-yn7zw1vi5y actually, as a mortar player using dagger dutchess, I find it quite easy to do so as a middle mortar placement will take the golem out with both towers targeting it. I also use rocket in my deck to deal with the night witch and luberjack, etc.

Nope, still the duchess is meh and the cannoneer is better even if he is worse as basically she is just good against cheap spam cycle decks, any other deck and she is going to have a hard time, and the only time you see people complain about here being broken are the people that are only using cheap spam cycle decks, and they are basically 80% of top ladder and road to legends, basically they are like fireball players, they never replace there cheap spam cycle decks and try a new one and just complain, the same people that said the little prince was balanced at launch 💀

@@edisonleka8937 beatdown? Bruh, my main deck is a shield clone deck 💀 and my second deck is a split deck with royal recruits, what beatdown? I don't even have giant or golem at lv14.... Only got giant skeleton as my defensive card and the rest are dark prince, skeleton barrel, Guards, arrows, mega minion, fire cracker, clone... So idk where you got beatdown from... Plus cheap spam cycle decks are the no skill ones here as you just spam the same spots always, that's why they crack when you drop poison and they can't vomit cards on the fixed locations they always do and take an L

@@edisonleka8937 no, just trying it because this very same KZreadr made a video about it here and tried it, basically just 2 weeks ago tho it's my under leveled deck, cuz I don't play vomit card decks before cuz I just said, my main maxed out deck is a clone shield deck but looks like you don't care and ignored that part because looks like my comment hit ya or you just don't know how to read, but anyways, also it got affected by the duchess, so I'm back to my shield clone deck and plus I be back using it anyways because it's my only maxed out deck as the rest are still missing some LV's and I'm sure as hell regret maxing hog rider cuz it was the most saddest thing, just spam him in the bridge and you win, and if they make a anti hog rider deck, that's why i use an earth quake and log in that deck, plus, enjoy crying when you can't play cheap spam cycle decks like a book on repeat cuz even after the nerfs they make, she would still rub the floor for cycle decks, even seen people are crying because they needed an ice golem with hog than send a naked hog against a tower and do damage to it, there's a reason why a lot of people are saying the duchess is good as because she forces people to use different decks than you guys just spamming the same cheap spam cycle decks, so L for ya

Because most got it to lv14 on the first week cuz they have magic items and basically the only decks that felt the pain of the duchess was cheap spam cycle decks, and if you look at grand challenges, top ladder, path of legends, they are basically 80% cheap spam cycle decks or a hybrid cheap spam cycle deck, so yeah, now top players will learn to use another deck than the same one since 2020 with only one 4 elixir card and the rest are 1,2 or 3 elixir only

So basically at 1x elixir your opponent can just spam win conditions at the bridge and even if you win the bridge battle and your troops get past the bridge, the duchess will just destroy 4 or 5 elixir's worth of your troops. By the time you get another 3 or 4 elixir to send it at the bridge and maybe take advantage of the depleted duchess, it will already be at full charges and your card will die again. No wonder elixir pump is meta again. Its the only strat that works against the duchess. It needs a massive nerf

Everytime I see Duchess I just faint man, she makes you play her ground from beginning to end

she is the most broken card the only card that can counter it is egolem and golem

I think the dagger duchess needs a nerf either slow down dagger throws or reload time or give less daggers because she is way to broken

Nope, you're looking at a controlled game, but in a real match, it would be different, cuz she is good against cycle decks and if you look at top ladder, grand and road to legends, 80% of those are all cheap Spam cycle decks or a hybrid cheap spam cycle deck... But any other deck she doesn't do well and is a bit mediocre and even the Cannoneer is doing a better job even if he has a hp penalty, but because 80% of high rank matches are people using cheap spam cycle decks and complaint, they will nerf it but just by a bit cuz her stats are very different in mid and top ladder

​@maxwellboop DD is by far the best Tower troop and it's not even close. She has the highest damage over short fights, higher than cannoneer and has better DPS than Princess up until 20 seconds of constant attacking. If you can get to that point, yes, she is worse, but getting into that position is quite tough. Additionally, due to her having higher HP than Princess and being basically invulnerable to chip damage from random troops, she basically wins any tie breaker on HP. There is a reason why most of top ladder is using her and it is not because they are dumb or stubborn with their decks. She needs a nerf.

@@thesilvanalyst6880 well, it is quite true but not fully, cuz people are still using the cannoneer and preforms better than the duchess, that's why there wasn't an emergency nerf or anything, even after they got a lot of data, she is just a hybrid of an cannoneer and princess, but got the worst side of the princess, but due to the mass complaints of cycle players, they make her hp the same as the princess tower and lower her DPS by 5% so 4 elixir cards can hit the tower before dying but still needs to be good against cheap spam cycle decks as now people are actually using other decks than just spamming cards on the same spot and hog rider always.. and I'm not going to get poison to deal with that because my poison is lv12 and I'm at lv15 cards arenas

My favorite tech against the dagger duchess is that with the way she attacks goblins, a goblin barrel on one tower can activate king tower but on the other the tornado + duchess kills the goblin

Most dagger duchess pro tips seem to be: *do nothing* 🤣

Normally every push consists of 2 units worth 8 or 9 spells, I normally kite the units in between with a building or a single unit so both my towers melt them down. But if it happens to be a bigger push where the opponent is cooking elixir to further add to the push, I normally add another unit to defend it's more than enough to defend that ungodly amount of elixir with very rare and unfortunate 1 or 2 hits, my tower is 2 levels lower than my king but it still shreds everything, now imagine what it would do when in my proper level

Duches is the best tower troop. It doesn’t counter anything, or is bad at anything. It can be used like the princess tower, with any deck. It’s overall better than the princess tower. The thing that makes duches balanced it’s her reloading. Her weakness? Overwhelm her, as is for the other tower troops.

I run a pretty big spawner deck and it can't counter it counters the first bit and then it fails and then that guy starts losing his mind as so many troops pour in on him and he's struggles to keep them back

Any spell will help Meanwhile clone: Yes.... About that...

As good as she is at clearing troops, it gets almost impossible to defend once she's out of ammo. My biggest tip is don't rely on her too much, you need to learn when to place a troop down vs when not to. Or else you run the risk of having to defend solely with troops.

Isn't it a simple thought save your elixir for when she is out of ammo and try to bait cards in the middle so both tower attack for insane damage the enemy won't have infinite elixir to keep it out of ammo like only against giant and golem is she worse then the princess.

It’s certainly cool that they added a new tower, but the sprite and animation itself don’t quite fit into the game, it’s not usual😅

Pro tip : pay money for OP dagger duchess tower… then profit over f2p players *Balance*
