For those unfamiliar with this band-- this was the way Kent announced their finish-- the last album and tour as one of Sweden's most successful bands. I'm not a "Kent expert" although I did enjoy them so this is my take-- many of the shots are of previous album covers and songs (the plane, the tiger, the running girl, the woman on horseback, woman in the tunnel, the dogs, etc.) It's as if Death is rounding up everything from the past and bringing it back together one last time, for one last march. Då Som Nu För Alltid means Then As Now Forever.

The way it builds from just a single snare drum into a full on orchestra/choir is amazing. Not only that but the way the snare is constant throughout the song but not annoying. As each new layer is added the snare fades into the background. 10/10

This is an announcement video by the rock band Kent, the most famous rock band in Sweden of all time (Edit: Please noice that Abba are not a rock band). They're announcing that they'll do their last album and tour this year with this video. In this awesome video there's a lot of references to their old album covers, music videos and lyrics which makes the video even better if you know about them. For example the tiger, the airplane, the girl in the jeans jacket and the girl on the horse are all from album covers.

I do come back regularly just to appreciate the incredible musical talents and visuals shown in thi s one video .......... and, admittedly, to feel so sad that I never discovered them earlier, to be able to appreciate the indirect references to previous works. For the past decade, I've been far too busy watching videos of "current events" unfolding in the world to discover the true golden gems that were being created in the artistic realm.

I will never forget you. I had dreamt of visiting and studying in Sweden ever since when I became a big fan of you (in 2007). I made awesome memories for many years with my friend who is also a big fan(it is pretty rare in South Korea) when I had bad and boring days - as many Korean secondary school students go through. And then, finally I visited Sweden last year after I graduated from university, one of my bucketlist items achieved. I traveled in many Swedish cities with their music, and bought their new album 'Tigerdrottningen' at the Pet Sounds, in Södermalm, Stockholm. (Another item left in my bucketlist(about Sweden) is to get a Ph.D. in Sweden. I hope it comes true, too.) At that time, I dreamed that they would last at least five years or more, maybe forever - in the raptures of happiness(because I bought their CD in their homeland) -. Yesterday, they came out with this video 'Då som nu för alltid'. It makes me cry. I know, I have to accept it. Yes, you guys will last forever in my mind as you are, as now. Perhaps, I will go there again this year to see their last tour. Your songs are still my pillar and keep me going when I feel tired of my days. Uhhh, cannot describe how much I love you in my bad English! Literally, I LOVE you guys. Tack för alla era låtar. A sincere fan from South Korea

I wanted to study in Sweden but I couldn't because of the high tuition fee, I can't afford. But i am living close to Sweden, i can get there in 1 hour by plane! I love this Video!

00:01 The bridge from the album cover "Tillbaka Till Samtiden". 00:10 The tunnel from the "Heart" music video. 00:12 The residential area "Hagnesta Hill" which gives name to both the album and is mentioned in the song "Ingenting" and in the song "Stoppa mig juni (little ego)". 00:14 The text line in "Hospital": "And they point to a fund, poison yellow clouds. Orange lights, silent silos, jet steam trails, bone gray towers". 00:17 The tunnel from the "Dom Andra" music video. 00:19 Motorless airplane that brings to mind the album cover "Isola" and the song "747". 00:24 There is a Finnish flag on the left gate door. A possible allusion to the fact that half the band has a Finnish accent. 00:35 The forest from the "WinterNoll2" music video. 00:43 Death from the album cover "Du & Jag, Döden". 01:02 The girl from the "Hagnesta Hill" album cover. 01:12 5 pieces dressed in white, the band's former members who all played at the Stockholm stadium in 2003 where they all wore white. 01:16 The bridge, the horse and the woman from the album cover "Back to the Present". 01:23 The Finnish flag alludes to the fact that half of the band's members have Finnish ancestry. 01:24 The white tiger from the "Weapons & Ammunition" album cover. 01:29 The inside of the Ferrari from the "Dom Andra" music video. There is also the white tiger as a rear-view mirror decoration. 01:32 In the middle you can see a flag with symbols from the album cover "I'm not afraid of the dark". 01:35 The woman found in the "Dom Andra" music video. 01:36 There is undeniably a cross that the dogs tear themselves away from. 01:38 The dogs from the album cover "B-sides 95-00" and the single "Chans". (On the album there are 2 dogs and here there are 4, the same number as the band members). 01:39 The Bengals seen are of the color Red - the same as the name of the album. 01:40 The children from "The Ones Who Disappeared". 01:43 On the far left is a heraldic lily or fleur de lis, which has long been known among Kent's symbols[1]. 01:57 They march through Stockholm where their end will be. 02:19 A mask is visible on the left. "A Heavenly Drug" music video reference Make-up and clothing are strikingly similar to "Black Parade, My Chemical Romance". Could there be a connection? [1] Kent's symbols can be read as "fleur de lis", "pair", "horse" and "magpie". These form the anagram: "Christ, save the hated Pale". Pale is then the pale horse that adorns the cover of "Back to the Future" and is mentioned in the song "Goodness": "...A vulgar version of the Bible's pale horse." Among the 4 horsemen of the apocalypse, the pale horse symbolizes early death through pestilence and famine... "and he who sat on it was named Death". - 01:51 On the right you can see a flag with what looks like a monkey or something. Have you figured out what it could be? Is that the gorilla from Nothing? Have you seen more details? Feel free to comment. i just translated @erasim0s post so that i could read it in english.
