Well, girls and guys, this song rocked absolutely hard! Your orginal rendition of "Paint it Black" is eleven years old now, and it was great. But this new one, together with the Vølfgang Twins? Through the roof! Somehow you manage that the drums don't drown the harps, but accentuate them. The video shows how far you have some since 11 years ago in video composition and editing (and it also shows that you seemingly haven't aged in these 11 years, but that's another story 😉), and it's simply a pleasure watching everything you create. It's funny how much the old ways look alike. I am Canadian as was my elders since time started. When you see our men enter thier circle they are us but after a few minutes they become the drummers. They become more than those around them. We dance and chant by the beat they set for us and the drums carries our plea to the sky as the smoke rises. Our ancesters story was so much alike. People of the land, warriors who served thier village.

I only just discovered the harp twins,, I have seen the Volfgang twins collaborating with other artists. Are you both sets of identical twins? I am in Australia, so shall never get to watch you preform live.

@susannechinn647 ~ Hi Susanne. Thanks for finding us. It's lovely to "meet" you. Perhaps the collabs you saw were other videos with us and The Volfgang Twins - or possibly videos taken of all of us at our live concerts/shows. The Volfgang Twins joined our tour team as crew/security about 4 years ago. (Then) For the past 2+ years they have also performed live with us on their double Viking drums for the finale of our shows. They have their own separate on-line musical projects where they play all the instruments themselves. We do hope to get to beautiful (and wonderful!) Australia someday. One of the moderators of our International Fan Group is from Perth. He and his sweet have wife traveled to the US to come to one of our larger shows. Thanks so much for enjoying our music! When i first started watching i guessed Scandinavian. My dads side came from Norway and Denmark in the late 1800s Great sound. Bass drums and harps compliment each other greatly.

"Paint it Black" was/is a "dark" song to begin with. This version is "Hauntingly" great!

Listening to this with haptic headphones is wonderful!

I think this is a totally awesome cover. Beautiful and exhilarating. The harps and drums are perfectly "mated" to make this classic tune something new and special. It is like the blend of feminine and masculine, the ethereal and tribal. I'm 71 years old and watching these beautiful young people to see what they do.

Congratulations from France. I liked very much this song. You play it well with only two harps and good ideas with two drums. The Vikings style clothes are a success even if the song was to cheer up allied soldiers in Vietnam war but it's like turned into a new beautiful antique song !

This was one of my favorite songs when it came out and still is. They did an impressive job. Never would have thought to hear it played in this unusual way. Then to add the beauty of the space around them…it was a clever and unforgettable video. Bravo.

I just turned 74 the other day and I have to tell you, I loved your cover of, "Paint It Black"! A great song by itself but you 4 gave it a special and refreshing lift. The 4 of you also picked a great place to tape this performance (tell Mom she did a great job capturing the scenery). The drums were really dramatic and you 2 ladies were great with the 2 harps. I also had my wife listen to it as well and she felt the same way.
