I really love and enjoy my CZ 75 PCR . Would HIGHLY recommend it to anyone for conceal carry or home defense. Very reliable and very accurate.

For me it’s my carry so I usually clean and lube after every time I shoot it. And do a detailed clean every 1000rds where the entire gun comes apart

Pretty sweet! CZC does great work, they worked my 2075 Rami BD and I may pick up one of their PCR's. My Rami has tridium sights which I prefer over luminous sights.

That PCR Custom is TITS!!! My first CZ is a PCR and it made me a better shooter!!! I sold my Glock 19 to buy it and now I own an SP-01 Phantom and a P-07 and love shooting them all. P.S. CZ pistols are $10 more than Glocks but are infinitesimally better pistols.

Great review. I appreciate that you pointed out the differences from the standard PCR. You mentioned the solid trigger pin, but did you ever find out if the firing pin roll pin is the same weak coiled roll pin used in the standard, or have you replaced it? Thanks

Good morning from NC.just getting started on shipping for a CZ.don't need a rail .was impressed with the feel of those 75s.what's the deal with the pins?break dryfireing?if I get a regular D model solid pins would be the 1st thing to swap out ?pretty much a must I would t hi k.?.also any idea if the older guns would be any better or worse than newer ones?I'm into S&W revolvers ,& with those the older pre lock models are much better feeling .I get them used so they are broken in some .that always helps I supose.that's a nice gun .if you could let me know about the pins & suggest a good forrum that's probably most of what I'm asking.looking like a lot of cz homework in the near future with these guns.ad old (pre B?right?probably police trade ins?surplus?)it could get complicated quick.last thing ,IF I keep it simple, and to buy a new PCR ,the pins, night sights& metal guide rod are a good thing I'm thinking.like metal.the polymer rods are probably just fine but why would cz put that in a metal gun to begin with?sorry the question is all over the place but on the website I didn't see anything about custom shop.pls get me pointed in the right direction.just held 1st 3(Rami,75 with safety & a pcr.2 days ago...& Never shot one .sooo.a lot to learn I guess.the feel was good

Morning! The pins are usually the first to go, especially w dry fire without snap caps. Some put in CGW spring pins or CZC solid pins. There are surplus out there but rare due to imports, but they’re the same $ or more than new usually. I try to stick to CZC pistols and can get them relatively cheap already done on gunbroker sometimes. I usually find them around $800-1000. If u buy from a custom shop they’re around $1200. But u could buy a stock and get parts from CGW or CZC and do work yourself also. I’m a SW fan also and always buy pre lock used whenever I can. Unless they don’t make that revolver wo a lock like my 460.. there’s CZ forum and cztalk.com for good info

Devildog III thanks for link to forum & price information.thinking solid pins sound best unless there’s some reason to get the other type. I know me .im not going to go get a snapcap when I get an urge to dry fire some. I’ll check out forum & come up with a plan. & 640 is about as good as a 5 shot gets. I don’t have one but will get one when the time is right.
