So when politicians steal money meant for rehabilitation of roads and people die of road accidents due to bad roads that is not as serious as people dying as a result of drug misuse? These guys are clowns. The way he openly said they're all thieves in government speaks volume and gives them no respect at all. No wonder the country Nigeria is moving backwards

It's not the type of thing organisations with interest in cost of living etc would expect. The real question though would be why the banks didn't fight it. I think cybersecurity is very important for them and also the technology firms.

Okay, I think the best way to handle this drug thing is start from the government officials, especially the Red Chamber. Let them all undergo a drug test. There bloods need to be tested. Are they free from drugs? There is something fishy about this bill. THERE CAN NEVER BE SUPPLY IF THERE IS NO DEMAND!

Admitting to individual corruption within a governing body and minimizing it as small is wild! The way my jaw dropped. Naija politicians are really tone def 🤦🏿‍♂️

@@user-nc8ym8hs2z oh I watched the whole interview. He made light of public corruption by admitting that it was small matter compared to drugs. There is no context where someone placed in a position of public trust can speak of public corruption as a small matter. A person in his position should know this.

We already have VAT as tax on all purchases, why taxing us again on each transaction. By the way, National security (both military and cybersecurity) is funded with general taxes, not separate levy on transactions.
