Police Arrest Another Abuja Bank Robbery Suspect

The Federal Capital Territory Police Command has arrested the last suspect and the alleged mastermind of the foiled robbery in the Mpape area of Abuja.
The suspect who is identified as Ernest Ewim was picked up from his hide-out in Katampe, a suburb in the nation’s capital.
The arrest of the suspect comes barely one week after the failed robbery attack and this brings the total number of all suspects arrested in connection with the robbery to five.

Ernest could have been exonerated if he had not recruited men for Larry, after having a hint that he intends to rob the bank. Secondly, he did not report to Police; that is an indication of criminal intent and conspiracy.

Trust me police would have arrested him first, he would have played the role to the last day, then with recorded conversation, would have turned himself in to the police, them that would have exonerated him. Because if he had told police, Nigerian police may call him the criminal and then blown they whole thing.

Nonsense Larry.. Some of us left school five years ago, wrote exams, passed. Went for interviews did well. No recommendations to get a job. We still hope that some day will be fine. Larry, you're a thief. You didn't think of advancing in academics to suit to banking career. You didn't think of saving up little penny to establish your own business. The only thing you thought was to rob your bank. You betrayed your employer by organising crime against them. If you weren't comfortable with the job,why didn't you resign and be full-time robber and let people who want to grow on a job take over.. Face the music and stop sounding like a coward..

Educating Nigerians on where to go to when they have any criminal information or intent is very key here. Assuming Earnest has been well informed of where to go to with such information and the matter will be taken seriously, discreetly and being compensated financially, if his "whistle blowing" information was found to be true. I believe he would have preferred reporting to the authorities and be compensated handsomely rather than joining gang with the dubious Larry. Our judicial system must work in a proactive manner rather than be reactive. The Banks and Media should also join hands in educating every Nigerian because this case is a reactive approach and could have been averted if the needful had been done.
