Cutting Print and Play Cards with a Fiskars Rotary Bypass Paper Trimmer
Ойындар
In this video, I do a brief demo of cutting print and play cards with a Fiskars Rotary Bypass Paper Trimmer. This is a high quality paper trimmer that can cut with great accuracy, but does not require as much skill or effort to use as a handheld rotary cutter or straight-edge blade.

Awesome video. I love to see your card builds. The way you explain your process inspires me to my own. Keep them coming.

Thanks for your kind words of encouragement! :)
Thanks, this is always been the tricky part for me
Ahh this is great Martin! I got my paper/laminate quality and back/front alignment finally on point, but my final cutting part isn't consistent for me at the moment. Doing a lot of cuts now with a carving knife because my cutting tool isn't really as precise as I wanted. Takes a lot of time, so this will be a big improvement for me! Definitely gonna pick this up. Thank you very much once again! :)

Hello, In watching this, if you haven't already. I hope you can create more videos / tutorials that goes in depth on what card grids to use with bleed especially for MTG style border cards. Thank you for the video and thank you for your time

Noted!
Very curious how you format the 6-card layout with bleed to avoid misalignment
all the best
Do you get snags or white corners on the cards on the initial cut through?

@@mjo23dan Nope, no issues with the cuts.
Lately I have been having issues aligning the front and back alignment on the same sheet. For some reason they are off no matter how I print them double sided.

@@MartinGonzalvez - updated printer with latest drivers. Tried all availability flipping methods auto and manual feed two side printing. I played around with the margins. Not sure what else to do at this point.

@@bankingonmoney8224 You'll probably have to edit your PnP files in an image editor to compensate for your printer's misalignment.Try measuring the amount of X-Y shift with a millimeter ruler, then nudging your card fronts or backs image (choose one) to compensate.
