@@theMermaidRhonda I never followed her for her hair, I followed for her style, her personality and her thrifty hauls. I actually found her from one of her thrift shops hauls. I wish she would notice how Beautiful she is with or without her locks. Maybe one day she will see we love her for her, people that cant see past her dreads dont see her inner beauty, her personality or the light she brings to this world. Plus her rabbit is absolutely adorable.

Elise, It looks great! I'm here with you to support your decisions, as well as a lot of your subscribers! I feel you so well! I don't even have dreadlocks and I've never had. But my hair always hurts after wearing buns, ponytails, even after a tight french/dutch braid! I think that's just how my skin works. So dreadlocks are not my thing, but I still enjoy them on other people. My hair was down to my waist and I cut it to shoulders lenght on New Year's Eve. Wish your hair to be healthy and strong!

I had super long curly hair for pretty much my whole life and 2 months ago I cut them very short and it was the best decision. My son had dreads and we loved them. Came a point in his life where he felt he wanted to change even though we were sad about him cutting off his dreadlocks we were happy to see the results at the end. So happy for you beautiful 💕

My advice.... ignore everyone’s advice!!!! This is about your decision. I did what you did before... I removed my first set and after a few months I missed them so back in they went. My hair was brittle and thinner than pre-dreads. So after 9 months those came out. After a few months I was still missing dreads, but waited a full year before deciding if I wanted dreads again, and getting my hair healthy. I wish you much joy with your new do!!!! Your beautiful regardless of dreads or no dreads!!!Remember it’s not important what others opinions on your decision is, the only thing that matters is that you are happy with your decision. Live your best life!!!! 💕

Elise, you do you! Your hair is beautiful whether it is dreaded or loose. And in the end, it will grow back if you want it to. I brushed out my partial dreads last week and cut my hair from lower back to shoulder length as I felt it was time for something new!

I had dreads for over a year and had to cut and brusch them out for the same reason as you. And it’s nothing wrong about that! You are you with or without dreads ❤️ And it hurts to do that and I had a sore scalp for a long time after 🙈 You decide how you want to live your life and don’t listen to hate! I had dreads for 5 years. Shaved my head without telling anyone in advance. Felt rlly good to run hands through.... 10 years went by and i had all kinds of hair cuts. I restarted a new dread journey 1 year ago and am enjoying process. I got a lot of negative comments at first when i put them back in bc no one in my life now had known that side of me and they didnt like it. But i feel like me again, comments aside. My scalp too isnt healthiest right now. I suspect someday you'll go back but wait more than 2 months this time, having to let go of that image and persona. You dont get the attention and the questions once dreads are gone. Takes some getting used to, to just blend in again

Hi Elise . I have been watching your video for so long. I now had my dreadlocks for over 8 years now and I am in the biggest dilemma of my life. I am ABSOLUTELY craving loose, light and flowy hair. But I love my dreads so much. One day, I brushed out half of my dreads and I m now in between 2 words. I miss them already but still need to go through this change. And now, watching this video of you, really inspires me and gives me courage. I understand you so much. Your old dreads were the one with the soul. Great video dear. Very honest and wonderful. I have had my channel for a long time also, mostly derived around my dread journey as well. I think your choice was a healthy one indeed. I have gone through my dread journey for 3 years now and have also combed a good bit out for very similar reasons. Cutting yours seems reasonable and a good call to save your scalp and dread health.
